This summer, the gas company replaced a number of pipes on our street, leaving mounds of dirt and asphalt and piles of bricks. The path to our main side door is now half a dirt mound and uneven with the bricks (not to mention that they destroyed the garden that was there), and bricks are constantly being knocked into by pedestrians or dogs, leaving them directly in our path and a tripping hazard.
