    On the SOUTH end of the Water Works filtration plant property near where the Jefferson County Sheriff's building is located, during rain events, muddy water is running off the Water Works property via a drainage ditch on their property and then downhill alongside Shades Crest Road toward Rocky Ridge Road where it flows under Shades Crest Road and into the local waterway that drains eventually into Little Shades Creek.

    Major construction on the north end of the Water Works filtration plant property is allowing muddy water to leave the site in torrents during rain events. It cascades down the hill next to Highway 280 on its way to Shades Creek.
