I am all for turning up your tunes when driving on trips and such. People should be able to enjoy their music, but when it impacts the comfort of those around you there should be a limit. I live on Oakwood and every night there are at least several cars that have their stereos up so loud with the bass at full throttle that it shakes the windows of my home. I am inside and can feel the vibrations through the walls and the am afraid that one day my glass will break because of the shaking. It only gets worse when the college students are back in town as they enjoy cruising up and down the roads blaring their music. Many is a night when I am home trying to sleep after a hard days work and I am woken up by some kids in a car with music so loud they have to scream to speak to each other. Is there anything short of calling the police that can be done. I have tried that and by the time a patrol car gets to the area the offending car is gone only to be replaced by another after the patrol car has left. ANY ideas are welcomed at this point.

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY AND GOOD IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! Can we please have someone / anyone get the drivers that travel the streets of this area / Raleigh late at night to turn the ****BLEEP***** music down. I can hear them coming from at least a mile. The windows of my home rattle to almost shatter, and more often than not it's after midnight and I am trying to sleep because I have to get up and go to work in the morning. I have called and called but I have noticed that the patrols ride by often enough that they should catch a few of these "lovely" people but they don't even slow down. Are Raleigh's finest afraid to tell a kid to turn his music down? I mean they don't even have to get out of the car to do it.

Just a quick note to pass that the signal lights at the intersection of oakwood ave and tarboro ave need adjustment. also the yield signs need to be straightened from being bent with the high winds.
