This house has been abandoned for about 3 weeks. Yard has not been mowed, trash has not been put curbside. Yesterday, there was a bicycle parked on the side yard by the gate. This morning the bicycle is gone. I am fearful that the house has been broken into and could possibly be housing homeless people. The property needs to be checked and the owners need to be notified that the property is vacant. It is also becoming an eyesore.

The sensor on this light must be flaky. Sometimes it lights, other times not. Sometimes it lights dimly, sometimes bright. Walking by it last night at around 8:30, it just completely shut off, then came back on dim.

What in the world and why? I guess it is important to insure that fire hydrants are operating correctly, but this seems like a total waste. Water runs from the hydrant, apparently through some apparatus on the back of the truck, then runs on down the street. Maybe, the water could be funneled off into a water truck and be used to irrigate a park or other area needing water. We are all trying to save where we can and paying dearly when we do not. There might be a better way to provide this test and reuse the water currently being wasted.
