What on earth is going on with paper pickup? We put it out in time. Strewn all over the street. My husband is out there ckeaning it up.

paper recycling missed the blue bin full of paper. i left the bin on the street.

There is a serious design flaw in the city trash buns when these little bags of dog waste fall through the opening between the metal and the removable receptacle. The dog waste bags pile up. Health hazard.

Missed paper recycling...again. Same as last week. The blue bin is still sitting on the street.

This is after sweeper went through. What is the point of moving our cars if THIS is what's left behind?

The trees in the rear of the Gateway East housing on Montgomery Street (not along the City Streets - but there was no other choice to click on) are enormous and the branches are encroaching on the houses and the wires in the yards on Varick Street. They are way too high for human beings to reach. In years past, Gateway East management has brought in a cherry picker through their alley to cut the branches getting too close to their own properties but did not cut any branches in other direction. I have called and written to the management about this issue but there has been no response.

I know that this is a not a Parks & Forestry request, but I'm not sure who to contact next.....before these branches become a danger.

Huge branch came crashing down from tree in from of my house. The Fire Department responded to a neighbor's call. The Fireman said the tree in front of 299 Varick, across the street is dead and that Forestry needs to survey the old trees on this block. No one was hurt...this time.

Resident of 303 Varick Street deposited large trash bag in public trash bin on Montgomery at Varick. Is that legal?

Why do we plant female gingko trees in a close urban environment? There are two rows of these noxious trees on Montgomery between Jersey and Varick. Every year we have this disgusting smell as the pods drop and people step on them. Can we replace the female ginkos, which NEVER should be planted in a public space, and plant something that smells nice?
