There is an orange cat (among other cats) that live at 1802 Springhaven Circle. The owners have been told by the animal control officer that their cat(s) cannot be allowed to roam free outside of their yard. I constantly find this cat in my yard, on my front and back porches, under my deck, and laying around in my backyard. This cat marks its territory at all of my doors, on all the porches and the deck. It uses my large containers with flowers planted in them for its "litter box". It poops and pees all over my property -- even in my garage! The people were told by animal control that they could not let their cat run free, so they kept it in for a little while, but it is back in my yard, under my deck, etc. Recently, when I saw it in my backyard, I went out and tried to shoe it off, but it just layed in the grass growling at me. I reported it to animal control, but nothing was done. I have a puppy now that plays in MY backyard, and I am afraid that this feral cat might injure him. One of their other cats was in my yard about a year ago and bit my German Shepherd all over his face and tried to bite me. I managed to grab a 2 X 4 and pushed it off of my fence. I had to take my dog to the vet to be treated for the bites which cost me over $100. The owners of these cats told me that they never vaccinate their cats!! I told them that it was a law in College Station that all cats and dogs must be vaccinated if they live in the city limits. Something needs to be done. What if these cats bite other pets?! What if they bite children?!

The property owners have cats that roam the neighborhood. The cats are black and white and orange. These cats are not vaccinated or registered with the City of College Station. The orange cat is often in my yard using my vegetable garden as its litter box, living under my deck and beginning to appear feral. Animal control warned them about keeping their cats in their house about a year ago. Needless to say the property owners let their cats roam the neighborhood. One of their cats, attacked my dog last summer in my backyard -- biting, scratching. I had to take my dog to the vet for the injuries which cost me $100. Next time I see the cat in my yard, I will take a picture of it and post it.

The owner of Performance Cooling & Heating is renting the house at 1801 Springhaven. He has his crew living in the house with him. This morning, I saw 4 males come out of the house. Two of the males, one hispanic and one caucasian, got into one of the company trucks and left for the job site at TAMU. Another hispanic male came out of the house and left in a company van. A fourth male, also hispanic, came out of the house and left in the big yellow moving van. The owner was still in the house and left about an hour later.

There is currently a large commercial van with a large commercial flat bed trailer (approximately 20' long) parked in front of the house without moving at all for the 2nd 24-hour period. This has been going on for months. Code Enforcement will have to sit and watch the number of crew members coming back to the house between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm or between 7:00 am and 8:30 am on a weekday. They leave on Friday evening going back to Katy, TX where their permanent homes are and return on Monday morning.

There are several trees on the outside of homeowner's wood and brick fence inside the city's easement, massive in circumference and large roots, which are pushing into the fence causing damage to the fence. They need to be removed by the city to prevent further damage.

The transformer in the backyard needs to have a new cover on it. Approximately 3 years ago, the city inspected the transformer and said that they were going to order a new cover for it. That has not happened. It is even more dangerous now with large pieces of sharp rusty metal falling off of it.

There is a white car parked in front of 1801 Springhaven which belongs to the couple who are renting the house. The car has an outdated sticker as well as a flat tire and has not been moved for about 8 months. It is difficult for city services such as garbage, special pickup, recycling and mail to get into and out of the cul-de-sac. Often, they have company that park in front of the house across the street preventing large vehicles from accessing the street at all. If a firetruck and other emergency vehicles would need to get into the cul-de-sac, they probably would not be able to.
