  • Moraga Ave & Pleasant Valley Ave Oakland, California, 94611 - Piedmont Avenue
The "don't walk" orange light doesn't come on, just the "walk" light, and only the light in the photo seems to be affected. It's in the center of the photo, right above the utility box.
  • Grand Ave & Sunnyside Ave Piedmont, CA, 94610, USA - Piedmont
The stop sign at Grand Ave. and Sunnyside Ave. is turned 90 degrees, so it is seen edge-on (and is dangerously invisible) to drivers coming down the hill on Sunnyside. One block away at Linda Ave., the stop sign is also facing Grand, not Linda.
  • Broadway & Pleasant Valley Ave Oakland, CA, 94611, USA - Piedmont Avenue
Left-turn signal should be showing red, but all 3 lights are off. Signal is in median on Broadway as you cross Pleasant Valley Avenue/51st Street heading toward downtown.
  • W Macarthur Blvd & Piedmont Ave Oakland, CA, 94611, USA - Piedmont Avenue
Pedestrian walk light, partly hidden behind scaffolding at construction site, does not seem to show the white Walk symbol. It does, however, show the orange Don't Walk signal.

Meter right in front of church entrance. After I inserted and withdrew my credit card today, I could not read anything on the display at all. I hit the "add time" button a few times, and eventually it timed out. Only then did it display 17 minutes in very large numbers so I could read it. So I did it again and pressed "add time" a lot, and eventually it timed out and showed 2:53. That makes the meter almost totally unusable, since you never know how much time you are buying. Fortunately that was enough time -- but those two times were the only things I was ever able to read on the screen. Please fix!

Vehicle plate 4LEG919. Has been parked 3 days, maybe more. We are having tree maintenance on Wednesday, January 30, which may damage the car, since it is parked under the tree.

    1/28/19: Vehicle has been moved.

  • I-580 W Oakland, CA, 94610, USA - Adams Point

The last few times I went to park in the lot under 580 between Grand and Lakeshore, the displays on the kiosks were not adjusted right. Letters and numbers were cut off so that the meaning of the message was lost, like when we had to pay. We checked more than one meter, and they had the same problem. Other customers there also mentioned the same problem, as we stood looking at the display trying to figure out what it was saying.

In addition, now that my wife doesn't want to park there because of the homeless residents in the parking lot, we won't be using it any more.

  • 397 51st Street Oakland, California - Temescal
Traveling on 51st St. from Telegraph to Broadway, the pedestrian signal was not showing anything on the south side of 51st, on the Broadway side of Shafter.
  • 4100 Piedmont Ave. Oakland, California - Piedmont Avenue
Countdown numbers no longer appear. They do still appear on all the other pedestrian signals at that intersection. The signal missing the countdown is the one closest to the clock tower at Piedmont Ave. & 41st St. as you cross toward the clock tower.
  • 188 11th Street Oakland, California - Civic Center

If you want me to tell you the meter number, how about labeling it on the receipt?

Meter time was 2 hours and 13 minutes in the past, so it issued me a receipt that said my time had already expired. Fortunately I did not get a ticket.

  • 510-552 Macarthur Boulevard Oakland, California - Adams Point
On Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, meter located under the freeway (see location) printed an unusable misaligned receipt. The expiration time did not appear. The number to call for meter questions was truncated. I'm just glad I didn't get a ticket.
  • Pothole Archived
51st St. heading East, between Clarke and Webster, Oakland, California - Temescal
Monster pothole in #2 lane (the right-hand driving lane, to the left of the parking lane). This is the worst pothole I go by in the North Oakland/Temescal/Berkeley/Albany area.
  • 171 Glen Avenue Oakland, California - Piedmont Avenue
Rolled-up carpet, toy bear, a couple of plastic bags with who knows what inside. Between sidewalk and Cyclone-type fence next to school, across the street from 171 Glen (approximately).
  • 2560 Broadway Oakland, California - Waverly
Walk/Don't Walk light in front of Audi store for pedestrians crossing Broadway at 26th Street shows Walk indicator OK, but goes dark when it should be showing Don't Walk.
  • Ridgeway & Howe Oakland, California - Piedmont Avenue
On post A8969 at Ridgeway and Howe near Piedmont Avenue, the traffic signals for cars are working, but the walk/don't walk signals for pedestrians are only partly working. Specifically, the white WALK light symbol doesn't light up for crossing Ridgeway, and the orange DON'T WALK light symbol doesn't light up for crossing Howe.
  • 3322 Harrison Street Oakland, California - Oakland Ave-Harrison St

I called the emergency number that SeeClickFix said to call, but they are closed and do not take messages.

The pedestrian Walk/Don't Walk signals at Pearl and Harrison were dark (not working) when I went by this afternoon between 1:00 and 1:30 P.M. They are the signals on the northern corner of the intersection, closest to the street signs.

  • Mlk And 52nd Street Oakland, California - Bushrod
A green light signal is out near post P-15 in the middle of MLK, on the north side of 52nd Street. It has been out for many days. When the signal should be green, all the lights are out, creating a possible traffic hazard.
