  • Bicentennial Park Tukwila, Washington - Tukwila
The bollards at the entrance of Bicentennial Park (next to the bathrooms) do not have any sort of pavement markings to make them more visible to bicyclists. In light of the recent bollard-related lawsuit against King County by a bicyclist, it might be a good idea to look into pavement markings at this location.

IN ADDITION, the bollards between the Green River Trail and the parking lot for the Three Friends Fishing Hole picnic shelter do not have any pavement markings, but I don't know whether or not they would be required here.

  • Riverside Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric

1-800-GOT-JUNK has placed a large plastic advertising sign right next to the road at the park entrance (the Salmon Hole parking lot). They seem to believe Burlington's parks and roadsides are for their advertising use, not realizing (or caring) that most of us consider their signs to be roadside trash and an eyesore. I also removed several of their signs yesterday on Rt 127 in Burlington, but they keep popping up faster than I can remove them.

Could Code Enforcement and/or the Police Department give 1-800-GOT-JUNK's owner a call and let them know that placing their advertising signs on our roadways is illegal and unacceptable behavior in our community? They might need firmer reinforcement than some other code offenders, since they leave this litter all over the county after being told REPEATEDLY by multiple town officials that it's not OK.

    Thank you.

  • 244 Church St Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Old 3-tier metal filing cabinet has been sitting on the greenbelt for many days, in front of 244 Church St.
  • Swift St At Spear St South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
The top bolt securing the yellow diamond "walker dude" pedestrian sign to its pole has come undone. The sign is flopped over at an angle. This is the south-facing pedestrian sign on Spear just south of the Swift/Spear intersection.
  • Dorset St At Swift St South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
The west-facing "red hand" "do not walk" pedestrian signal on the east side of Dorset St at this intersection is burnt out/inoperational as of yesterday afternoon. It appears to be the older style with a bulb, not LEDs.
  • 51 Barrett St Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
There's a mattress and car tire laying on the edge of the road, near the big parking lot next to 51 Barret Street.
