TT&P, please acknowledge. This is our busiest bus stop down here!

Agreed, the parking areas accessible from Fitch Street are for Coogan Pavilion, the skate park and the dog run. Like it or not, some people do drive to the park and having the gate open at Fitch Street (it's a pedestrian and bike entrance too, actually) says" the park is closed" and "not welcome". We'd like to encourage more people to use the park, not fewer.

Parks, please acknowledge and let us know what the Fitch Street gate hours and policy are.

Agreed on all points, Mark, thank you. The additional crosswalk from the NW corner in conjunction with your other suggestions would help tremendously. For some reason, t-intersections in New Haven only ever seem to warrant two crosswalks instead of three - incomplete, indeed, putting the onus on the pedestrian to cross two streets when only one is necessary. We will bring these comments to the discussions around the Complete Streets project I mentioned.

Parks, please acknowledge when you have a moment. This particular dump will likely require a Bobcat and dumptruck to get the debris out - it's quite a bit. Thank you.

Thank you, TT&P. Please close.

TT&P, please close this issue. This particular incidence was repaired and there is now a new ticket open for another incidence at the same location. Thank you.

WVRA's Clean Team from Chapel Haven regularly removes these flyers during their weekly rounds as well. Agreed they are a nuisance and eyesore and it is an endless task. Is it possible for the guy to be fined for this or does he have to be caught in the act of posting?

Thanks for posting, Henry. We have placed additional calls in to the property owner and manager of 781 Whalley to get this taken care of ASAP.

Calcium chloride spread on Icy spots; we will continue to monitor and address as needed. Please close.

City has contacted AT&T so we should see some movement on this shortly.

Parks Dept. plowed the sidewalk and bus stop yesterday. Passable, but still very icy; needs additional attention by hand.

Route cleared. Please close.

WVRA staff discussed with USPS maintenance this morning and a drive-by confirmed they took care of it at least somewhat. We'll reconfirm on foot and communicate with them again if necessary.

Alder, LCI, and WVRA are working on it. Property has been contacted already and been informed that he will be fined if the sidewalk and crosswalk are not cleared.

I believe this has already been submitted to Public Works through the Ward 25 Alder, Adam Marchand. Should be tops on the list, this one!!

NHPA, please acknowledge - not sure if you're regularly on SeeClickFix....

John, do you think this is a simple welding job or is it a threaded or keyed joint of some sort? Can't tell from the photo.

Bill, please contact me if you're interested in exploring this idea further: chris.heitmann@westvillect.org or 203-285-8539. I work for the Westville Village Renaissance Alliance and have been talking with other folks in the neighborhood about this very idea.
