    Gravel, concrete, and construction debris have been abandoned on the street for weeks. As people often do not park on that side of the street, there is a danger of cars not seeing the pile and driving into it.

    This pile is located in front of the side entrance to 600 Haddon Road. However, the closest estimated address for the pile is 660 Prospect Ave., even though no actual building with this address exists.

    The barriers on this small traffic island have been pushed over and now graffitied. These barriers need to be either improved or just removed.

    These barriers were installed to protect pedestrians from out-of-control cars. However, people have repeatedly pushed the barriers off their ground attachments in the past. From the photo, it is clear that these barriers are not bolted into the ground. Rather, at best, the short 2” to 3” bolts in the ground match up with holes in the bottom of the barriers and only serve to keep the barriers from accidentally shifting.

    If these barriers can so easily be knocked over, then a car hitting them at high speed might have the effect of killing the pedestrians standing behind them instead of protecting them. This is a dangerous condition that needs to be corrected.

    A large broken section of the street needs to be fixed. This section of the road is both depressed as well as contains pieces of loose asphalt.

    Note: This street is not included in the proposed EBMUD repaving in the neighborhood even though large sections of the street were previously torn up by EBMUD.

    3719 Grand Ave. Oakland, California - Grand Lake

    Parking Meter ID G3700-1 in Parking Zone 44207 in front of 3719 Grand Ave. says "Fatal error 0:104". It does not work.

    The next parking meter immediately north of this one is Parking Meter ID G3700-3. This meter is just dead with no operating display at all. This second parking meter is located in front of the Safeway supermarket located at 3747 Grand Ave.

    3206-3208 Lakeshore Avenue Oakland, California - Trestle Glen

    A defective condition exists on the traffic island located on the northeast corner of Lake Park Ave. and Lakeshore Ave., next to the Union 76 gas station.

    The middle concrete barrier has been pushed and tilted up to create a potentially dangerous crush point. It has been in this position for months. If it is ever pushed down while someone has part of a limb beneath the barrier, it could result in serious injury to an adult or child.

    For the past several months, liquid has been leaking from a metal cover in this intersection. If this is clean water being wasted, that is unfortunate. If this is sewage, then that is unfortunate for an entirely different reason.

    In the event that this was a water issue, I reported this to EBMUD on July 13, 2015, and received an initial acknowledgement. However, no corrective action was ever taken.

    I just sent the message below to EBMUD (custsvc@ebmud.com) but am also reporting this issue to the City of Oakland via SeeClickFix just in case this issue is a matter of joint legal responsibility.

    To whom it may concern:

    An EBMUD crew came out to repair a pothole in front of 759 Hillgirt Cir., Oakland, CA, on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Unfortunately, a few hours after they left, a truck drove over the repair and severely damaged it. (See attached photo.) Because of the broken surface and loose asphalt, the patch is a danger to bicyclists as well as a potential source of damage to automobiles.

    Please fix this. Next time, your crew may wish to consider (1) covering the patch until it has time to set and/or (2) avoiding doing the repair on garbage day, which is Tuesday. It seems that the damage may have been done by the large recycling truck, which came shortly after EBMUD left.
