    A vehicle has been parked off the street and left on the greenway since at least December 2. It should be removed immediately by the City of Raleigh.

    There has been a broken power pole on a corner Bloodworth/Hargett intersection for several months. The crack seems to be worsening and it appears the power pole is close to breaking off and falling onto Hargett Street. This is on the SW corner of the intersection, close to the white fence of the City of Raleigh owned parking lot.

    More horse poop from the police horses that our officers have made no attempt to clean up. Took place at 12:45 PM, Friday afternoon on E. Hargett Street. This is disgusting & a better solution from RPD is necessary. Clearly the officers have not been sufficiently trained to keep our streets safe for walking across.

    An all-too-common problem with the police horses is that they defecate on downtown streets and no one cleans up after them. If dogs' owners are responsible for picking up behind them, how are the policemen and policewomen who ride these horses not responsible for cleaning up behind them? There has to be a simple solution here, rather than leaving enormous piles of horse poop all over the street every few blocks, leaving a wicked smell for all of us to experience until enough cars unknowingly drive the piles into the pavement until they are no more.

    Please provide the appropriate ordinance this would fall under or bring before the appropriate group to create a new ordinance to fix this. I believe this is a cause all of us downtown would like to get behind, or rather, in front of.

    There is abandoned furniture and excessive amounts of trash rotting away on the sidewalk on the S. Swain Street side of this property. It has been sitting uncollected for over a week. It is unsightly and in the way of the sidewalk. Please have it removed immediately.

    Please remove the grey Madza pickup truck parked on Watson Street. It has been there for months and not been moved. It is between the driveways of the white and yellow houses on the west side of Watson Street.
  • 201-219 S East St Raleigh, NC 27601, USA - South Central
    For over a month, the curbing between a fire hydrant and S. East Street (just South of the E. Hargett Street intersection) has been missing and there has been heavy erosion of the thin gravel and soil around the hydrant causing a mini-sinkhole. This is an unsafe nuisance caused by City of Raleigh employees when they failed to complete the work on this section of the sidewalk several weeks ago and needs to be resolved.
