  • 401-499 S Field St Dallas, TX 75202, USA - Government District

The sidewalk running north/south from Field & Wood to Field & Young is very dangerous: uneven, potholes, and holes. Not a good representation for guests of the convention center. -- I have moved from downtown and can no longer update this area. As of 3-10-11, no work has been done; very dangerous situation.

  • 782 N Olive St Dallas, TX - City Center District

Directly next to the 202 Bus Stop there are two trees that are supposed to be illuminated after dark. The lights are broken and have exposed electrical wires.

Update: I reported this item almost a year ago and the City of Dallas has still not taken any actions to fix the issue.

  • Patterson St Dallas, TX - City Center District

Yet another very dangerous intersection for pedestrians downtown. In the afternoon rush hour, when walking south on the sidewalk on the east side of Griffin, attempting to cross Patterson St, auto traffic attemption to enter Griffin from Patterson consistently tries to occupy the crossing in order to expedite their entry onto Griffin, and they frequently pretend not to see pedestrians, obviously expecting pedestrians to yield to them and wait for them to enter Griffin. Never mind that there are typically 3 or 4 cars waiting to do the same thing. Dangerous place. I've had to yell at drivers and beat on their cars to get them to yield to me.

  • 301-2199 S Pearl St Dallas, TX 75201, USA - City Center District

400-100 N. Pearl Ewy's surface is marred by missing chunks of asphalt. It is a key entry into downtown from Central Expressway left hand exit on southbound side. Cars hit holes and slide sideways on curving street.

  • 301 North Market Street Dallas, TX 75202, USA - West End Historic District

The sidewalk under the trees on either side of the DART track between Record and Market is covered with bird droppings. The photo is from the south side; the north side is even worse. And the odor worse still. Walking in front of Corner Bakery--where one can usually smell the food inside--it's all I can do to not gag from the smell of ammonia.

  • 554 N Field St Dallas, TX 75201 - City Center District

Last week I saw a lot of water leaking into the street from some newly laid pipes feeding some newly planted trees.

  • 2701-2799 Clover St Dallas, TX 75226, USA - Northeast Dallas

There are numerous pot holes on this stretch of Clover street. The holes gather and constanly have dirty, stagnant water in them. Dangerous for cars to drive down street because you can't tell how deep water-filled holes are. And stagnant water is a health concern.

  • Federal St Dallas, TX - City Center District

Just one of many unnecessarily dangerous intersections for pedestrians. In the morning, walking north on the sidewalk on the east side of Field, when trying to cross Federal St, good luck getting across with the constant flow of cars travelling too fast, turning right onto Federal St. Police- stop this nonsense. How about some enforcement? This is reckless driving plane and simple. Its rampant.

  • 196 N Market St Dallas, TX 75202 - West End Historic District

there aren't any clear lane markers for drivers turning onto elm from market. EVERYday people turn from the inside turn lane on market to the outside lanes on elm. bad enough that you have to deal w/ added nuisance of wide turns in addition to westbound elm street drivers who run the light and buses that bully their way thru the lanes.

  • 208 N Market St Dallas, TX 75202, USA - West End Historic District

The sidewalk on the Market Street side of El Centro College's R Building is covered - and I mean covered almost to the point of being off-white instead of brick & concrete - with nasty pigeon poo. Yuck! Can someone please take a pressure washer to this health hazard sidewalk sometime soon?
