  • 2307 Crestmoor Road - Green Hills

Clients visiting businesses along Crestmoor cannot exit on to Crestmoor due to excessive traffic backed up on this road due to short green light at Crestmoor and Hillsboro, coupled with the added traffic on this street due to the Abbott Martin road closure.

  • Abbott Martin Road From Hilldale To Cross Creek. - Green Hills

We are so excited to see this project has begun and is slowly progressing down Abbott Martin. Next spring be prepared to see tons of people enjoying this new investment in their community. Thank you to everyone involved.

Would like an update on the schedule for installing this sidewalk. We were told it would be this summer. We are looking forward to safely walking down Abbott Martin.

There is an existing sidewalk from Burlington to Hilldale on Abbott Martin and then nothing until Cross Creek. This is a busy, well traveled road that leads into Green Hills shopping areas and HIllsboro High School. Students in this area live less than a mile from Hillsboro and the bus will not pick them up if they live under a mile from the school. Lots of runners, cyclists, pedestrians, and even Moms with strollers use this now and it is dangerous. So many more people would choose to walk instead of ride this short distance to grocery stores, the mall, school, restaurants or the YMCA if they could do so safely. Sidewalks to "no where" are being built all over the city because developers are forced to put them in places that don't make sense. We would be better served if the city required developers to pay into a sidewalk fund and build sidewalks based on priority need.

  • ~4270 Granny White Pike / 1500 Shackleford Road - Green Hills

This problem involves traffic on Granny White Pike. Southbound cars on Granny White Pike that want to turn right onto Shackleford Rd. must yield to cars on Granny White that are turning left onto Shackleford, thanks to the yield sign that was put up fairly recently. The problem is with the curvature of Granny White at that point; southbound cars on Granny White that are coming up behind the car yielding at Shackleford cannot see the left-turning vehicle and therefore run the risk of hitting the car that is turning left (and that car can't see the oncoming traffic easily, either). The yield sign should be removed and a traffic-sensing light should be installed. I have seen several near-hits and a serious accident is bound to happen.

  • Woodlawn - Green Hills

It was nice to pave Abbott Martin and Bowling, however, Woodlawn (in the same area) is in much worse shape than these streets. Prior patches and pavement are breaking up in many places. When will Woodlawn be paved?

  • 3931 Hillsboro Pike Nashville-Davidson metropolitan government (balance), TN - Green Hills

Left turn lights from Hillsboro Rd onto Abbott-Martin and onto Richard Jones are both at the end of the green phases- lots of traffic backs up in both directions, waiting for turns. If the turn signals were at the beginning of the cycles, the turn lanes would clear and the the block on Hillsboro between Abbott-Martin and Richard Jones would not be blocked to cars trying to get into the turn lanes.

The city of Belle Meade is dumping huge amounts of storm water from Walnut Dr. and Lynwood Blvd. onto my property, which is in Metro. I am concerned it is weakening the structure of my house! This problem could be fixed by continuing the storm drains down to a culvert designed to carry water to the creek. We have tried to talk with Belle Meade and Metro to no avail. Please help!

  • 3700-3702 Ferndale Ave Nashville, TN 37215, USA - Green Hills

This is a very dangerous intersection as parents and students leaving David Lipscomb High School often ignore the stop sign, rolling, if not speeding, through it onto Grandview Drive. It sets a bad precedent for their children. Also, the street is marked as no on-street parking, yet there are many cars frequently parked on Ferndale. Can something be done to enforce the stop sign or could DLHS have a school crossing gaurd there to help?

  • 3507 Wimbledon Road TN 37215, USA - Green Hills

Woodmont Blvd between Hillsboro Rd and West End. Is pretty much a set of pot holes. This is Green Hills most heavily traveled roads...what up?

  • 1402 Grandview Drive - Green Hills

There's a massive speeding problem on Grandview Drive between Belmont Blvd. and Granny White Pike. Most of it is from Lipscomb students and staff using it as a cut through street--which they fly down--rather than keeping it as a residential street. We need speed humps or other traffic calming devices.

  • 3800-3814 Hobbs Rd Nashville, TN 37215, USA - Green Hills

Intersection needs to have a signal similar to Abbot-Martin and Estes. High volumes of traffic travel through that intersection during morning and evening rush hours. The lack of left turn signal causes traffic backups on Estes and endangers drivers trying to make that turn.
