1188 Fell St San Francisco, CA 94117
We who live in the western half of SF are forced to rely heavily on Fell & Oak Streets. Any blockage on those streets is both inconvenient and a safety hazard.
It seems that at least half the times I'm on Fell at Divis., there is a backup of stopped cars in the left lane, waiting to pull into the Arco gas station here. This is inappropriate anywhere, and dangerous on such a major artery.
I see two possible solutions:
1) Require the Arco station to redesign its layout so cars can wait on premises, not on the public street;
2) eliminate 3-5 parking spaces on the left side just before this station, to accommodate waiting traffic.
Enforcement would probably help too.

1100-1198 Hayes St San Francisco, CA 94117, USABeautiful old water fountain missing two of three bronze bowls. One has been replaced with cheap and ugly steel pan. Water pressure almost unusably low on remaining working fountain. This is a very high foot traffic area between the Painted Ladies hill and dog play area in Alamo Square.· Signalé par Matt B · Marquer Flagged
Mcallister St & Divisadero St San Francisco, CA 94115, USAEvery day delivery trucks stop and double park on this part of the block and obstruct traffic, and park residents in, so they are unable to leave for work. This area clearly needs a daytime truck loading zones. This intersection gets a lot of bicycle traffic, and bicycles are forced in to oncoming traffic, and drivers become more aggressive over the inconvenience of having to do the same. This is extremely dangerous!
1593-1599 Mcallister Street San Francisco, CA 94117, USAEvery morning there are delivery trucks double parked on this block, blocking the whole lane, and causing drivers and cyclists to ride in the oncoming lane. The trucks block visibility of the oncoming traffic that cars and bikes have to look for to get in to the lane to pass them.
Mcallister St & Divisadero St San Francisco, CA 94115, USAThis intersection has routinely got trucks double parked for unloading to the 4 stores located on the corners. This corner needs a commercial loading zone for certain times of the day. The trucks block the entire lane right at the traffic light forcing bicycle & car traffic to use the oncoming lane with very little visibility due to the hill it's on.
589 Divisadero St San Francisco, CA 94117Cars are CONSTANTLY parking in the 24 Divisadero bus stop at the southwest corner of Divisadero and Hayes, usually so that people can run into the Popeye's Chicken on the corner. The bus often ends up having to stop in the traffic lane because of this.· Signalé par Anonymous · Marquer Flagged
