A couple who is homeless is living in the park. She is African American, he is not. They have suitcases under a picnic table. It's been at least a week that I've seen them here and there.

The homeless who have now made the Knox Mall their permanent encampment had a ruckus last night and there is now trash strewn all over the entrance to Washington Park. What a terrible way to welcome people into this part of the city. There needs to be a major clean up in this area.

Please resolve this issue. This property has been reported multiple times. They store their trash in front of the building and it stinks and draws rodents. Homeless individuals also dig in it throughout the week spreading trash on the block. As this photo shows, they also put trash on the curb (next to leaf bag on the right hand side) days before trash day.
