220 Wills Rd Alpharetta, GA, 30009, USAThe signal on this road has become very quick. It is nearly impossible for more than 2 cars to pass because the signals turns from green to red so quickly. There is construction on this road but there are still four to five neighborhoods with 40 plus houses each with no way to enter besides going through rucker road. In addition officers have been giving out tickets for running red light offenses even though they are aware that the signal turns from yellow to red within a couple of seconds. I understand that the construction work is arduous and being outside must be hard on the officers, but the residents of this area are dealing with this issue twice fold so some understanding on their part would be appreciated. Particularly an officer Lawrence has been very rude and consistently interrogated me on why I am going to Fairfax even though she sees me leaving and returning daily. Please either reverse the time so that people have ample times to get on Rucker Road so they can get to their homes.
9872-9898 Westside Pkwy Alpharetta, GA, 30009, USAIntersection of Westside Pkwy + Encore, there is a traffic signal that is aimed at southbound traffic, traveling on Westside Pkwy, located on the opposite/left side of the road. With new Spring growth, the pin oak tree near the signal is now obstructing its view. This signal helps to alert southbound traffic on Westside to a change in the signal color as cars enter the intersection heading South and downhill. Tree needs to be pruned back.
Windward Pkwy Alpharetta, GA, 30005, USA
Particularly bad Eastbound traffic along Windward from Morris to NPP.
No construction, no collisions, no cause other than poor light configuration & too many cars.
3 cycles to get though 400SB intersection
2 cycles to get though 400NB intersection
2 cycles to get past NPP intersection
Windward WestBound looked clear despite some box blocking by 400SB>>EastBound traffic.
The state controlled lights for 400 aren't really helping things but there may be a quick fix.
Having the city look at adding a few seconds to the NorthPointParkway traffic light for cars heading East on Windward may reduce the pileup and increase the throughput of the corridor.

Danke! Bedankt!51 Parkmont Dr Roswell, GA 30076, USAmy service request #4961 was transferred and closed. I've had no response from Public Safety. I called also and was supposedly transferred to a Lt...but had to leave a voice message. Our neighborhood is having a meet and greet meeting along with an Alpharetta traffic engineer to discuss traffic calming for the neighborhood. From 5 to about 7:30 PM Sunday, 7/28. we are requesting greater police presence in our neighborhood while so many houses might be vacant. Please direct this to someone who will at least respond to me.... This has become so frustrating.
4017 Dover Ave Alpharetta, GA
I am writing because our neighborhood roads were recently repaved, and our speed bumps were removed. We were told that they would be replaced in a couple of weeks, but the work has been finished for over a month and the bumps have not been replaced. We have a big problem with speeding in our neighborhood, and police patrol is not enough. Our residents would appreciate a response from the city regarding when our speed bumps will be placed back where they were.

Is there still a traffic calming committee and steps, etc. for Alpharetta?
I know about 20 years ago there was one I still have some documents going back that far. I could not find anything related today on the internet. I'm seeking help for Parkmont neighborhood at the corner of Alpharetta near Warsaw Rd and Old Roswell Rd.
N Main St Alpharetta, GA, 30009, USAIf you're traveling west on Old Milton and making a left turn onto North Main Street, the traffic light for turning left is too short. The light cycled 3 times before I was able to make the left turn from Old Milton onto North Main Street. PLEASE have someone to adjust the light. Thank You!
