2980 Madison Ave Bridgeport, CT, 06606, USA
The neighborhood has complained MULTIPLE times about this land rover discovery, Connecticut plate AT 19893 that seems to be ABANDONED on Madison Avenue. It was left for a MONTH in the bus stop-the neighborhood complained and the police tagged it. So whoever the owner is has moved it and parked it in front of building 2980 of 3000 Madison Ave. condo complex. When the police closed out the last issue, they said the car was registered and insured. Since whoever owns this “phantom car “ moved it in front of building 2980, it has sat in the same spot for 35 DAYS!! It has not moved ONCE. I believe in Bridgeport, cars/vehicles on city streets have to be moved at least every 48 hours —driven and parked. This car has not been moved for 35 DAYS! Not an inch! Whoever owns this car does not live in building 2950 which faces Madison Avenue, building 2980 which It is parked in front of, nor building 3012 -all of the condo units of 3000 Madison Avenue that front Madison Avenue. While we understand parking on city streets is open to everybody, I would like to have the right to park in front of the building I LIVE in, pay TAXES ON, and to be able to unload my groceries. Whoever owns this piece of crap car does not live in ANY of these buildings and the car has said here for 35 DAYS. I don’t care if the police say it is insured and registered. Cars on city streets have to be driven and moved every 24 to 48 hours and this car has sat here for 35 days. Most of the time it is the ONLY car on the street. The police drive by it every day. So notify the owner that cars on city streets have to be moved moved or driven every 24 to 48 hours. Or we will take care of this piece of garbage that is parked in front of the building WE live in, WE pay taxes on and can’t park in front of!!!! piece of garbage who doesn’t live here has dumped his car here for the last 35 DAYS!! I don’t care if it’s licensed and registered – it hasn’t moved in 35 days and that makes it abandoned!! The police have two days to take care of it or we will. This has to be the 20th complaint about this land rover!!!! I know Fairfield Village, which owns Leslie Road as a private road had it towed out when it sat there for 40 DAYS without being moved. Enough is enough with this. If the police don’t deal with it and the owner, we will.
