10125 116 Avenue Grande Prairie, Alberta
The advance left turn phase is defective at 116Ave/102St.
The left turn signal for the Eastbound lanes (turning to go North) is active for an excessive amount of time, regardless of the traffic in the left-turn lane. Westbound traffic must wait an excessive amount of time to proceed straight.
The left turn signal for the Westbound lanes (turning to go South) will never activate. Traffic trying to make the left turn must turn against oncoming Eastbound traffic which is very high volume.
2 Service Road Grande Prairie, Albertalarge hole developing as a result of city kerb disintegrating, city road is in poor shape. Area leads onto private access, owner is not able to repair or maintain their part until the city fixes the road side. Issue is made worse by heavy truck traffic using the private owned property as a turn around point on a dead end service road. Service road is used for heavy truck parking and the only turn point is the private lot currently occupied by Diamond International trucks.
Thanks! Thanked!10212 99 Ave Grande Prairie, AB T8V 2V2, CanadaThe left most lane on 99ave at 102st does not need to be closed. There only needs to be "no left turn" signs. This is going to cause a huge and unnecessary bottleneck to eastbound traffic. That lane is designated as a straight lane too and should not be blocked off as part of construction.

I feel that the Swanavon school zone on 100st should be shortened and here is my reasoning:
-The DCoy Armories have fenced the playground to the north. The school zone no longer needs to extend a full block north of the school grounds.
-To the south, there are no marked crosswalks and very little pedestrian traffic.
-There are pedestrian activated traffic lights that all students use to safely cross the road.
There still needs to be a school zone, but I feel it should be much shorter. I've attached a map for reference, the current zone in red, and the requested change in yellow. It would have the same safety effect while having less of an impact to traffic.
