Prince Albert, SKOK, a while back we had the option to purchase plates and trail permits seperately. Then the two were combined which was suppose to make more funds available for grooming. My problem is now we are forced to plate the sleds but we don't have any groomed trails here.
Ocassionally the ditch to the lakes are groomed but not very often.
Where does my plate money go?
Why don't we groom trails here instead of ditches like other communities?
How are the funds distributed throughout the province?· Reported by Just Wondering · Flag Flagged

So apparently we have a new bylaw that it is illegal to smoke within 10' of a public entrance. My issue is, when are we going to start to enforce it?
Go to the gateway mall, ppl are smoking within 2 or 3 feet of the door, sometimes standing in front of, or inside the door. And it's not the usual gang-banger wannabees, but usually mall employees!
It may not seem like an important issue, but for those of us with lung issues, inhaling your 2nd hand smoke hurts like @#$%. How hard would it be to show a little common courtesy?
410-500 36 St W Prince Albert, SK S0J 3H0, CanadaWhy can't the city connect 6th Ave W to 36th St (Marquis Rd) instead of directing all the 28th St West hill, hospital etc. traffic to 2nd Ave W. What the H is the hold up here, it's been this way for years?· Reported by not impressed · Flag Flagged
Alfred Jenkin'S Field House Prince Albert, SKI love the Field House and use it often. I have one concern, though. Very few people who use the track follow the rules, specifically slower traffic to the inside lanes and no more than two people walking side by side. When the seniors are there every morning, they literally block the entire track! It's annoying and dangerous! I think it's great that they're getting exercise but come on people, it's for everyone!

I moved to Prince Albert from a MUCH smaller location and even it had adequate recycling services. I can't believe we still have to throw out tin cans, glass jars and everything else I've been recycling since I was a child.
I know these services are available through private companies, but the city needs to get with the times and provide this service, if for no better reason than to reduce waste and save the planet.· Reported by Andrew · Flag Flagged

When using the city recycle depots please start to flatten your cardboard to be curious to the next person. If two people throw their TV boxes from christmas into a bin, they fill it up! If those people would break down their boxes, 20 people could throw in their TV boxes. Seems like I always have to drive around town to look for a empty cardboard bin, and its not because they have alot in them, people just dont take the extra 30 seconds to do it properly! Whats with the garbage around and in the bins, THERE IS A BIG GREEN SIGN THAT SAYS "CARDBOARD ONLY, NO STYROFOAM" AND ANOTHER SIGN THAT SAYS "NO GARBAGE PLEASE, ONLY FLATTENED CARDBOARD, PAPER, AND MILK JUGS". How hard is that? Who keeps filling up the RECYCLE bins with GARBAGE. That is what GARBAGE bins are for!
Sorry, some people are just extremely inconciderate and dont care. Seems to be the PA way.
Cant the city start charging these people?
I lived in a small town south of Red Deer, there was a SEVERE fine for doing this!· Reported by wants to recycle · Flag Flagged
Prince Albert, SKi live out by the super 8 and i notice there is a very poor police presence out here enforcing the speed limits. This is notice to people who can't read the signs that indicate the speed these signs are not a suggestion but the law...the speed limit after the canadian tire is 60km/hr not 100 km/hr by the time you get to the wholesale club. This speed limit is 60km/hr until just past the suprer 8 motel.I have been almost rear ended numerous times due to ignorant people driving to fast in the city limits. My other complaint is of the lack of enforcement in this area.Only twice in 8 months have i seen a police officer pull somebody over here. The area after the canadian tire would be the perfect spot for a speed trap if any officers are reading this please start enforcing the laws before somebody is killed due to these reckless, inconsiderate imbecils
