3010-3098 Avenue H Brooklyn, New YorkThis intersection is dangerous. Drivers regularly speed while driving from Flatbush Ave. onto Avenue H. Today I was hit by a car on Avenue H outside of Target. It would be beneficial if this area were designated an NYC DOT Slow Zone, or if other measures were taken to ensure pedestrian safety.

Can we get an opinion on whether or not the banners and size of the signs and letters meet local law. They are huge and seem to display more than what is allow on a typical awning, per se.
We find the display to be an eyesore and detracts from the building. All three vertical banners on the North side are covering 15 ft windows .
Thank you for your input.

Service vehicles and motorists are often at odds on this stretch of Argyle road, an each will lay on the horn excessively to vent frustrations at the others.
A small sign already exists as in many other neighborhoods indicating that horn blowing is not allowed except for danger. This is routinely ignored not only by private motorists, but by e.g. sanitation department trucks who should be trained to heed city regulations.
Just a few minutes ago a sanitation truck laid on the horn for literally 30 seconds, at 8AM, as the driver impatiently waited for an idling Access-A-Ride truck to move.
As a resident on this block it's impossible to enjoy a quiet morning, even inside my apartment. The problem exists at all times of the day but is particularly bad in the morning as school buses, elderly transit, and sanitation trucks are all active along with morning commuters.
Can anything be done to help this? I don't know if it is an education issue or an enforcement issue but I'm guessing that a positive impact could be made using either or both measure. If nothing else then city employees should be encourage to heed the horn blowing regulation.
715 Ocean Pkwy Brooklyn, NYIn addition to the need stated in a previous request to enforce the rules against riding bikes on the walking path along Ocean Parkway, more signs are needed letting people know (in English, Spanish and Russian) that riding is only allowed on the bike path, not the walking path. The city has put up a few signs but more are need before an accident occurs
415 Argyle Road Brooklyn, NYSeveral times an hour, cars speed dangerously up Argyle Road from Dorchester, when they see a green light at Cortelyou. This street is populated by many families with children, and there is a tot lot on the corner of Coretlyou and Argyle. It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt or worse. This street needs a speed patrol and better street signage.
1300-1398 Dorchester Road Brooklyn, NY 11226, USA
Construction crews have blocked traffic from going across Dorchester to Coney Island Avenue at Argyle Road. There are no warning of detour signs so traffic is completely snarled on Dorchester and Argyle, with cars honking and people driving the wrong way.
They need to put up detour signs further east along Dorchester so drivers can take alternate routes before coming to a traffic jam.
Near 1418 Avenue NFor years cars have parked at the corner of E. 15th Stree & Avenue N, at the SW corner. There is a traffic light at this intersection, thus no need for this sign. I was surprised to see this sign today. Can you tell me when it was erected?
