The Home2 construction has taken over the sidewalk across the street from the Terminal Market for about two years now. The pedestrians have been moved out into the street behind Jersey Barriers, and the bicyclists have been moved into an area of the street with trolley track crossings because of it. This causes a hazard for both cyclists and pedestrians as the tracks make an accident more probable and some cyclists take the pedestrian right of way behind the barriers making bike/pedestrian collisions more probable.
Given the high traffic nature of the area for tourists and locals alike, it's high time that Hilton gave the sidewalk back to the city and its residents. Two years is long enough.· Reported by Adam Mullen · Flag Flagged
