1200 Beverley Road Brooklyn / Kings, New York
Raised manhole surrounded by sunken pavement. Every time a truck goes over it my whole house shakes. The noise is so loud we can't sleep. Have complained multiple times to 311- they referred to DEP who owns the manhole. after months DEP has no record of complaint...

255-267 E 18th St Brooklyn, NY 11226, USAThere is a huge area of sunken pavement along the NE corner of East 18th and Beverley. Along with being a driving hazard, it routinely catches water when it rains that takes forever to evaporate, and in the summer months this creates a breeding ground for mosquitoes.· Reported by Avi · Flag Flagged
36 Wellington Ct Brooklyn, NY 11230, USAThe construction crew has raised the grade of Wellington Court by haphazard patching of the asphalt and has caused a permanent ponding condition in front of my house. This will lead to mosquito breeding in summer and hazardous ice in winter. (The same condition exists in front of 23 Wellington Court, as well.)· Reported by Steven Sohn · Flag Flagged
1501-1599 Caton Ave Brooklyn, NY 11226, USAI hope the parks dept. Is planning on resodding and filling these huge ruts they created. They made the sidewalk wide enough to drive on but couldn't keep on the pavement.· Reported by William · Flag Flagged

305 Parkside Ave New York 11215, United StatesHello. I recently learned of this capital project in the parade ground to reconstruct the paved pathways of the parade grounds. https://www.nycgovparks.org/planning-and-building/capital-project-tracker/project/9445 I contacted the liaison for the project to bring up some concerns that myself and many members of the community have brought up numerous times to see if we could have them considered in the redesign. They told me I should go through our community board, so I am reporting it here. Our immediate concerns specifically are: 1) that the containers blocking the pedestrian path on the western path through the parade ground are moved. 2) that paths for motorized vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles are clearly marked on the western path, and 3) that the drainage by the flag pole is fixed. The western path is the only path that leads to a traffic light across Parkside ave. and flat entrance to prospect park all the way down to Ocean Ave. As such it is one of the most heavily used corridors for accessing the park for people in our neighborhood. The infrastructure and condition of this corridor has been long neglected and is not serving our needs. Now there is money and a team working on this. We want to make sure these concerns are being met as part of this capital project. Thank you.
Marlborough And Newkirk Intersection Kings, New York
The intersection at Marlborough and Newkirk is very dangerous. While the recently installed cross walks are a good thing, cars rarely stop or even slow for pedestrians crossing. Because of its location near the Newkirk Plaza train station, and its proximity to PS 217, this intersection sees heavy foot traffic. Really what is needed is a four-way stop, but at the very least some traffic patrol would be a good thing. In addition to failure to yield to pedestrians, cars frequently drive fast and/or recklessly on Newkirk, and down Marlborough. It seems like an accident waiting to happen.
Many thanks for your time and attention.
