Yale Football 145th Season – Yale Bowl
Dear Westville and New Haven Residents,
This weekend, Yale University will kick off the 145th
season of Yale Football as Yale hosts Cornell in the home opener at the historic
Yale Bowl. The game begins at 1:00 PM on
Saturday September 23, 2017.
The City of New Haven has posted and will be closing Central
Avenue and Yale Avenue (from Chapel Street to Derby Avenue). Only local residents will be allowed access
to Cleveland Road and Oliver Road from Chapel Street.
To avoid any inconvenience please use alternate routes between
Chapel Street and Derby Avenue.
In addition, the south side of Chapel Street (rom Central Avenue
to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard) and the north side of Chapel Street (from Yale
Avenue to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard) have been posted Emergency Order No Parking
from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Towing will be
enforced along the posted portion of Chapel Street.
