2701-2799 Clarendon Boulevard Arlington, VirginiaTraffic frequently backs up up out of the Whole Foods parking lot into Clarendon Blvd. Often times, the vehicles will "block the box" during Clarendon Blvd's red light and prevent traffic on Edgewood from proceeding in any direction while they have a green light. The back-ups generally impede smooth flow of traffic.
1400 N Courthouse Rd Arlington, VA 22201, USAPedestrians have the right of way AT ALL times even though this crosswalk is not associated with a stop sign or stop light. The pedestrian right of way is not marked by a sign or caution (cone, stop sign etc.) and thus, drivers blow through the crosswalk (usually with some pretty nasty looks, gestures or comments) even when pedestrians have started crossing. Drivers speed up to catch the following stop light if its green making it all the more dangerous. This crosswalk separates the huge parking lot from the courthouse/police station and you would think traffic laws would be more strictly enforced here--not so.· Reported by Courtney · Flag Flagged
Intersection Beside Weta Arlington, VAThe intersection beside WETA where traffic coming from Four Mile Run direction have to yield to traffic in the circle moving towards SHirlington. This intersection is so dangerous and I have had several near misses in the last week alone. People consistently ignore the yield sign and do not look to the left when they enter the circle. Because of the design, it may appear that they have their own lane. I think the county needs to install large yield signs on both sides of the street. Also, they should do traffic enforcement and write tickets there from 5pm through 8pm.· Reported by Jeff Miller · Flag Flagged
