Requests: road safety
Thanks! Thanked!107 Main Avenue Clifton, NJ 07014, USATurn signal light along with delayed green is needed on main st and the on ramp to route 3 east. Back up in traffic makes a mess and accidents are prone to happening. This is a safety issue!
Kenyon Street Clifton, NJ
I have a neighbor across the street who has an extremely loud truck without a muffler (or enhanced muffler with increased sound) which vibrates my house, who often drives drunk and fights with his female roommate at all hours of the night- many phone calls have been made and no results....
Motorists evading the Clifton & Van Houten stop light- drive down Kenyon street at excessive speeds at all hours of the day and night. There are only 7 homes on Kenyon st, but there are 7 small children who like to play outside. There are no warning signs, speed bumps, and drivers never see the yield sign at Henry and Kenyon.
Street paving, Kenyon St and Henry St haven't been repaired/ paved in at least 6-8 years and these roads are shoddy at best.
Elm street between train station and colfax-
How about stop light to keep motorist from attempting to run over commuting pedestrians at these intersections? Since I have almost been run over about 20 times now, I have been forced to carry a rock in my backpack just in case motorists decide that they will not yield to pedestrians in cross walks....
Thank you for the great schools, fire departments, & libraries in Clifton. This is an excellent use of my tax dollars and we are very fortunate that these areas are well maintained and managed.
I have hoped that these issues would have resolved themselves in time, but they haven't so I figured I'd voice my concerns.
Van Orden Place And Hazel Street Clifton, New JerseyThere is a stop sign on Van Orden Place but not on Hazel Street, in the past month I have noticed that traffic and speeding have gone up. It is almost impossible to turn from Van Orden onto Hazel Street in either direction and night time is much worse. I almost got into a accident with a motorcycle who did not have their headlights on a couple of nights ago, motorcycle was on Hazel Street speeding, I was turning left from Van Orden onto Hazel if it had not been for being overly cautious, we could have been in a terrible accident. I live on Van Orden and speeding always increase in the summer especially on the weekends, you just hear the cars and motorcycles fly, it almost sounds like race cars outside the window.· Reported by NJ_62 · Flag Flagged
