Requests: blighted property
116-118 E Lincoln Hwy Coatesville, PAThese signs are placed all throughout the business district. They are plastered on vacant properties. There are phone numbers on the signs so the owner of the signs could be contacted to be made aware of solicitation policies that are on the books in the city. These signs, and others like them, make the business district look less than business like. If the property owner is fine with it, there is nothing to be done but they should not be placed on city property! The events are also happening in Norristown. They are not even benefiting the city.
101-141 Harmony St Coatesville, PAThe buildings that line Lincoln Highway also back up to Harmony Street. These buildings represent our fine city but they are doing it a disservice. They look horrible. They are not taking care of the back and it shows. Trash overflows dumpsters and weeds plague the parking lots and sidewalks.
218 Walnut St Coatesville, PAThis house has been left to sit and rot in the City of Coatesville. Concerned citizens came to council to speak about this property over a year ago. This house has been sitting abandoned for 5+ years. It was the front page picture in an article about vacant properties in the City of Coatesville last year. NOTHING has been done about this property. It is an eyesore, it is dangerous, it is attracting stray animals and also criminal activity. Something needs to be done about it. The owners should be made to fix it up or tear it down completely! A "shower area" is exposed in the back of the property. It is a horrible site for residents to be subjected to everyday.

Strode Ave. Coatesville, PAhouse has been abandoned next to little chef on strode ave. for several years. I see vagrants coming in and out of house. house had a for sale sign on it, when you call that number you always get a recording. Owner is deceased and distant relative couldn't care less. This is close to the fire house, I'm suprised no else has noticed it. It is not secured. I fear what could happen if there is a fire there, with the gas station located right next door and all the high trees and brush around the property. Please check into it.· Reported by John C. · Flag Flagged
16 West 5th Ave Coatesville Pa Coatesville, PA16 west 5th was purchased last summer, and the owner has neglected the property. The weeds, and even trees growing out of the front gutters, are an eyesore to our neighborhood. The back yard is so neglected that vines are growing up onto the chimney and spreading to adjacent properties.· Reported by Concerned · Flag Flagged
1115 Oak Street Coatesville, PA
The back lawn has not been mowed since late May or early June and the weeds/grass are now 1 to 2 feet tall. This has been reported to the city before around August 3rd but it appears that no actions has been taken by the city.
Can we have some action PLEASE!!!
