O'Haras is a total nightmare. The constant drunken street brawls outside of this establishment and the trashy crowds of patrons who not only scream all night, they leave tons of trash, bottles and cans behind them on the sidewalk every night. Not to mention all the idiots out front idling on motorcycles revving their engines loudly at 3am thinking they are being cute and nobody says a word.
Last night at 2am there was yet another huge drunken street brawl in the middle of Marin Blvd and I watched as two guys punched each other until one knocked the other one out flat in the middle of Marin Blvd. Then the women started going at it on first street until the JCPD finally chased them down too... As soon as the JCPD left the women were back along with their male companions and screaming and trying to kill each other until 3am... They were so drunk that they could barely stand, and then got in their cars and drove off. That's the norm. The crowds openly fight in the middle of the street blocking traffic and nobody does a damned thing... The police need to stay on top of this place as it is a well known hot-spot for drunken brawls and last year even a murder. Yet it took the JCPD 20 minutes to show up AGAIN.
The liquor license of this place needs to be revoked until they get their trashy weekend crowds under control. They are a serious nuisance and a threat to public safety now. The local residents have a right to the enjoyment of their own homes and not to be terrorized by this constant stream of trashy drunken patrons from O'Haras. I assure you that everyone living on Saddlewood and Laurel Court, and in the Art House building are totally fed up with O'Haras and wish it would just shut down.
Thanks! Thanked!1 Canal St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USASorry I had sent a photo on my 1st explanation but then I deleted. There are to many gigantic strollers at one time in the literail cabs. The owners don't move them or provided a path for people to exit (God forbid an emergency) or get on the literail, maybe there needs to be a limit per cab or need to be closed like when they get on the bus Or not have them at all like the bikes on the trains. I'm sure sooner or later if it hasn't happen yet, people are going to be fighting on the rails cause you can't bump into anybody or all @#$% breaks loose. Thank you for your time!

A ‘summons’ is not strong enough.
It is late Sunday, July 21, 2019 / early Monday July 22.
Talde has falsely made claims to a city official (https://seeclickfix.com/issues/5996398) that they have a recycle collections on Sundays AND Mondays. The pictures show the recycle pile started before 2:27 PM July 21 (21 hours before the 7:30 am Monday collection) is the same at 7:40 pm July 21, and the same at 12:18 am Monday, July 22. What happened to the ‘Sunday collection’ that Talde claimed to have to a city official
“Division of Sanitation - xxxx (Verified Official) no cause today restaurant has two collection time one on Sunday and another on Monday businesses are allowed to place their trash and recycling out for collection up to 8 hrs before collection” - https://seeclickfix.com/issues/5996398
Talde’s recycling is picked up Monday mornings at 7:30 AM, consistently, for weeks. Why is Talde allowed to operate in this fashion? Talde KNOWS they are doing something wrong because the recycling pile actually stopped after June 16 and they started putting it out on Sunday evenings (still beyond the 8 hours allowed), but they are back at it.
I live in this neighborhood and I should not have to look at trash piling up well before the collection time. This should not be occurring and I simply do not want my street looking like this. No other respectable restaurant operates in this fashion in the downtown area. Jersey City Government needs to ask itself “What if every restaurant in ‘Restaurant Row’ or the 'Pedestrian Mall' pulled a Dale Talde and started to operate on their own set of rules?”
I care about my neighborhood and my street and I simply do not not like the street I live on looking like this.

Two weeks ago we asked for your help with the construction site at the above address.
This was our complaint (the dumpster is placed under our building windows instead of placing it in front of their own property. Huge objects are thrown from the windows right into the metal container creating an unbearable noise and lots of dust and safety hazard.)
Nothing was done.
Today a filled container was replaced with the new one and the “@#$%” started again.
I work from home, I can’t work in the conditions like that. it’s not right.
They throw everything from the windows right into the container which is 5 feet away from my desk.
Also they secured 4 parking spots for a month. How is that possible? We are struggling here with finding parking spots. This house has it’s own parking in front at the back.
Also they start working at 7:30 am.
This property is at the corner of 479 Manila and 8th Street.
219 Montgomery St Jersey City, New JerseyThere have been five or six orange cones in front of 219 Montgomery for a YEAR. They are SO ugly and totally unnecessary. Can you please tell the business owner/landlord to remove them? I am so sick of looking at them every day, and they shouldn't be allowed.

It is Sunday, July 14, 2019 and the recycle pile has started. Talde has falsely made claims to a city official (https://seeclickfix.com/issues/5996398) that they have a recycle pickups on Sundays and Mondays. Jersey City, would you have curbside recycling on a Thursday and then immediately on the next day? Would that make sense? I can tell you that Talde was not honest and they do not have a pickup on Sundays, at all. The recycling is picked up Monday mornings at 7:30 AM, consistently, for weeks.
Why is Talde allowed to operate in this fashion? Talde KNOWS they did something wrong because the recycling pile actually stopped after June 16 and they started putting it out on Sunday evenings (still beyond the 8 hours allowed), but they are back at it.
I do apologize to the city employees who have to continually go out for this but I simply do not like the street I live on looking like this.

After a brief hiatus, Talde is back at it as they place cardboard in a pile on a sidewalk well before their scheduled collection - a collection that occurs after 7am on Monday mornings -- meaning that this pile should not appear during daylight hours.
Bay Street is a mess because of the additional pedestrian traffic that we have an establishment placing cardboard does not help the situation.
Why is Talde allowed to operate in this fashion? This issue has been posted for multiple weeks. Talde stopped for about two weeks and now they are back at it. The city also has done nothing about the permanent sidewalk cafe setup that Talde has.
This is the fifth time this issue has been reported. Jersey City Officials, why does it take multiple reports of the same issue to get any official action taken?
