Crabtree Blvd. And Capital Blvd. Raleigh, NCI earlier mistakenly reported a problem with the right turn at the light. The problem is with the left turn signal onto Capital Blvd. from Crabtree Blvd. It is too short. It typically allows 2 cars through on the green, and one car through on the yellow. If one car takes too long to turn, then only 1 car gets through the light. This usually leads to a line of cars waiting for this light. It happens regardless of time of day.

I have lived near this house for 1.5 years and have never seen anyone at this house. The house is an eye sore firstly, due to garbage including chairs, tvs, crates, mowers, ladders, etc, basically a dumping yard. The house itself seems unsafe and unstable.
The backyard is overgrown with poison ivy and kudzu which comes right through the fence into my yard, no matter how well I control it from my side, their side being unmaintained leads to constant invasion in my yard.
The overgrowth is a breeding ground for ticks, mosquitos and vermin. We struggled with a rat problem the whole winter with rats coming over from this house. There was an obvious tunnel/path from this yard/shed/house into our wood pile and chicken coop in which they built colonies of nests and bathrooms in our shed and wood pile, and were eating our chickens food and chickens eggs.
This house is an eye sore, a breeding ground for pests, vermin, and overgrowth of harmful weeds.
The owners need to step up and take responsibility for this property. Thanks for your help.

101 Donald Ross Dr Raleigh, NCThere is no signal actuation for pedestrians or bicyclists at this intersection. You can only actuate the signal in a car. The loop detector on the minor street doesn't pick up bicycles. It is very dangerous to cross, especially because of the vehicle turn phases on New Bern. The city should go out here and look at it because I don't think it's set up properly. At the very least, there should at least be a button to push.

Tenants routinely park their trucks street side despite the numerous no parking signs along this steep hill.
Tenants have filled their driveway with appliances, wooden palettes and other junk resulting in limited parking space for their trucks. Their porch is also filled to the brim with this stuff.
The driveway is crumbling and potholed causing the tenants to literally spin their wheels while attempting to back out on a steep hill.
This is very loud and noisy and occurs often.
2400 Bertie Raleigh, NCAround the 2400 block of Bertie Street, a car clearly drove off the road, up onto the sidewalk, and took out a signpost and a small tree. I don't know if it was reported, but it was not there 24 hours ago. There is enough damage (and enough pieces of the vehicle scattered about) that I doubt the driver was uninjured. Yet another example of reckless driving in this school zone. Just moments before I spotted this accident site, my dog and I were nearly taken out by a speeding car on Stevens Road.

A real estate sale at 2345 New Bern Ave violates the policy boundary of the North King Charles NCOD. Commercial to the east of Peartree, residential west of Peartree. The property is west on the corner of New Bern and Longview Lake Drive. The property is R-4, they have it listed and advertised as “commercial land” without rezoning first. We have contacted CBC – Trademark Commercial. When the realtor (Wallace Green) was approached, he simply removed a “commercial redevelopment” notice from his sign on New Bern. He left all other advertising (internet, flyer, signage, company listing) as was. Furthermore, his listing makes reference to an “additional 1.5 acres” which is not permitted, if not under contract. I and other East Raleigh citizens consider this a misrepresentation of the property.
Said property is the Thad Eure home, built in 1938, and considered of historic value by many of us.

2331 New Bern Ave Raleigh, NCThis home has now put up large "No Trespassing" signs in the windows visible to the street. They can been seen from your car when driving down New Bern. They are quite unsightly and I have heard several neighbors complain since they were put up. This really detracts from our nice neighborhood setting and I'm sure the home next door that is for sale is being hurt by the actions of 2331 New Bern as well as being an eyesore to those of us who have to live by and look at this property every day.
