The Colgate Clock area was, and should be, a jewel of the waterfront. I am not sure who is supposed to maintain it, but maintenance seems to have stopped. The grass is overgrown and full of weeds. More weeds are protruding from the sidewalk. Photos are below.

The bike lanes our city has invested heavily in are not present for this random 1-block roadway. Cars do not respect cyclists in their lane as they make their way between bay st and 2nd st.

Please include some sort of marking on the road to make it clear where cyclists should ride and where cars need to expect bikes. Better yet, complete the bike lane on this stretch.

This tree is becoming part of the electrical wires and needs to be attended to
  • 356 Van Nostrand Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Greenville
Tree is leaning dangerously toward the street. It prevents the street sweeper from cleaning street by avoiding it. The tree is causing damages to sidewalk pavement. This tree is a waiting disaster to the electric wires when it fall.
  • 621-639 Marin Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
Almost a year since I've complained by the lack of pedestrian right of way signs, I've almost been hit by oncoming cars coming from the Holland tunnel side. I was told a year ago when using this service that signs would go up as soon as in stock. This is a danger and this whole Blvd up to Hoboken needs traffic calming measures before something serious happens.
  • 212 Palisade Ave Jersey City 07306, United States - The Heights
Trying to cross at this intersection is very dangerous. On almost every occasion so try to cross no vehicles stop or yield to me or others trying to cross. I have had cars beep at me when I’m trying to cross though it it my right ow way. Could the flashing light and set up that is at Fleet and Palisades be set up here or at least a flashing walking sign. There are no other crosswalks that are close and cars are not slowing down to cross both lanes safely.
  • Waverly St & Baldwin Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heights

I live on Waverly Street in the Heights. My family, along with my fellow neighbors, are requesting that the intersection of Baldwin Ave and Waverly Street receive some type of crosswalk safety light. As you can see in the aerial photo the intersection is located within the middle of a heavily traveled, 2 way curved street (Baldwin Ave), creating blind and very dangerous crosswalks.

One option with minimal cost is the push button cross-walk sign with LED blinking lights – see attached picture of this type of sign located on Palisade Ave by Sgt Anthony Park.

Please help us with this before someone gets hurt.

  • Huron Ave & St Pauls Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
The resident said that the building at 3060 Kennedy Blvd. has a lot of handicapped people. He himself is blind. He said the traffic on St. Paul's Avenue between Kennedy and Summit is very dangerous. Cars fly past and one of the disabled is going to get very hurt. It needs signals or a way to stop the traffic so that these pedestrians can get past without injury.
  • Bergen Ave & Storms Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - McGinley Square
Many years ago I got the city to install 4 bollards around the crosswalk so cars wouldn't park there. Over a year ago, one of the bollards was hit by a car and is now gone. This has resulted in cars parking in the crosswalk again. I asked for this to be fixed a year ago, and nothing happened. Please replace the bollard!
  • 2nd St & Coles St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
The intersection of coles and 2nd street and the crosswalks are continually blocked off by traffic since you jammed up the intersection of 2nd and newark with stupid useless plastic sticks. You need to remove the ugly mess at the end of the block and put the road back the way it was and just move the crosswalk to the narrow part of the road. You are continually endangering pedestrians with this mess because cars are constantly sitting in the crosswalks. All this did is make everything worse when there was never a problem before. Do you need to have a pedestrian hit by a car before you take this down? Just put up a speed bump or traffic light if you need to. It also jams up traffic at the laundromat there because a lot of people stop to pick up laundry and you took away the only space to safely pul over out of the way
