  • 360 Paterson Plank Jersey City, New Jersey - The Heights
This sign sends people West when JCMC is South and East of here. Maybe a series of signs gets one to JCMC, but sending them the wrong direction in a potential trauma situation where you hope they see subsequent signs is foolish and could produce liability.
  • 317 St Pauls Ave Jersey City 07306, United States - Journal Square
    Sign broke from wind
  • Grand St & Van Vorst St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Could the NO TURN ON RED sign at the intersection of Grand and Van Vorst (direction when you are waiting at light and the firehouse is in the LEFT hand side) be moved to next to the light signal. It is in another pole now, almost over cross walk over Van Vorst and it is not clearly visible.
  • Central Ave & Lincoln St Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Along Central Ave there are several difficult streets to cross and cars dont always respect people trying to cross ... there should more stop signs for pedestrians there specially where lincoln st meets from the furthest sidewalk on central ave ... also on zabriskie and cental ave, many people have been crossing the street jaywalking because there is no stop sign there for pedestrians to cross.
  • 280 Gates Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Greenville
There is a one way sign that is covered by tree branches and the sign is not visible to drivers so many of them go the wrong way down the one way street which is Blue Spruce Lane where they are illegally making a right turn onto this street from Gates Avenue. The resident is suggesting that a lighted/flashing one way sign be put in place instead of the current one because it isn't visible. Additionally since the street has been made a one way street, the "Stop Sign" needs to come down because it is confusing to drivers. The stop sign is located at the other end of Blue Spruce Lane at the Seaview Avenue Side next to the driveway for Walgreens.
  • Oakland Ave & Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
There are no street signs at Oakland & Newark and Cook & Newark.
These signs were evidently removed when the construction fence was erected around the lot opposite the Hudson County Courthouse.
They are currently stashed near some construction fencing, about 200 feet away from the courthouse.
  • 135 Jewett Ave Jersey City NJ 07304, United States - McGinley Square
Street sign / parking sign fell down in front of 135 Jewett Please re-attach
  • 24 Britton St Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - McGinley Square

There is a huge increase in people driving up Britton Street from Montgomery Street, which is the wrong way on this one-way street.

This happens several times a day now, where it used to be rare to see. Even commercial vehicles like FedEX are doing it now.

I'm not sure what kind of study would help, but possibly enforcement somehow?

  • 273 Sherman Avenue Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Resident is requesting a Sign that states that trucks of certain heights should not enter. There has been increase of wire down concerns on Sherman heading towards North St.
  • Fowler Ave & Mcadoo Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Greenville
Some drivers don’t stop or make a full stop at this four way stop sign. It dangerous sometimes because you have stop after you make your stop because other drivers don’t want to stop.
