Saugus Town Hall PLUS

Resident of 29 Birch Street (corner of Stone Street) continuously park there vehicle up on the sidewalk of stone street. Several residents in the area use Mobility devices due to Disabilities. The way this car is parked it forces the individuals to drive into stone street. It is a dangerous situation and one of them is going to get hurt.

The suv is blocking the sidewalk every - day - on a blind corner where cars drive fast - hence why there is a guardrail to protect the private property- it should also protect the pedestrian who are walking to and from the local playground….

Please make this intersection a 4-way stop. Traffic from the right in this intersection (coming from Willis) is downhill, fast, and does not stop, and is heavily obscured by fencing on the right. Traffic also does not stop from the left (also Willis), and overall it is very hazardous for the traffic that does have to stop. This is only a 2-way stop, please make it 4-way.

The town or someone changed the traffic light signal so that it is no longer functioning properly. This is leading to massive backups on Walnut St and Rt 1.

18 wheel dump trucks speeding all day on Essex st.

There are no posted speed limit signs on Adams Ave until Jewett Street intersection. Adams Ave has heavy pedestrian traffic now due to Northern Strand crossing and also should be considered a school zone with the Belmonte STEM Academy turn right at Adams Ct. The only two posted speed limit signs on Adams driving towards Central Street are within 25 yards of eachother right before Jewett Street. Cars often travel 30-35 MPH down Adams Ave.

Cars race up and down the street at unsafe speeds need more speed traps traffic control

Car always parked on side of street preventing delivery vehicles and emergency vehicles from accessing as it’s too tight.

Parking control needed: Cars from apt building park too close to crosswalk making it VERY dangerous for people to cross as they have to come out between cars Someone is bound to get hurt

The crossing guard at this important intersection needs to be refreshed on his job description. Though he is very personable and is energetic towards his job, directing traffic IS NOT what he is supposed to be doing. The town is opening themselves up to some serious liability allowing him to do this if he happens to be the cause of an accident or something more serious. He also allows parents to stop in the middle of Denver street and let kids "jump out" of cars and run across the oncoming lane of traffic instead of being brought safely to the front of the school on Dow street. I understand its difficult to find people to man these posts but some checks and balances are needed, I pass by this area regularly and see some less than safe things happening.
