    Brendan, I received a call from a constituent who lives at 25 Herbert Avenue. You are familiar with the town's drainage system backing up in her back yard. It has gotten pretty serious. There is still a large amount of water in the middle of her yard. Her evergreen tree and another tree is dead because of it as well as damage to her fence. The smell is absolutely horrific. I know that you had Western & Sampson do a study and that they concurred. I am hoping that you can look into this and talk to the homeowner again for some kind of resolution. Many thanks,

    Hi Brendon, is it possible to have more lights installed at the front door of the Senior Center? The Hammersmith Quilt Guild has about 100 members and they meet at night. It is really dark and scary for the women walking to their cars. As always thank you for any help you can give.

  • 19 Clifton Avenue Saugus, Massachusetts, 01906 - Saugus
    I have had an ongoing issue with a neighbor who is continuously feeding suet to the birds. It starts early in the morning and the suet is replenished ALL day long. Hundreds of Birds are flocking to this continuous source of food. I have spoken with the owner of 19 Clifton Ave to no avail. They have actually increased the feeding. I must wash the bird droppings off my car, house and driveway daily. Birds are digging holes in my lawn. I am unable to park my vehicle on my side driveway. I cannot leave my house windows open due to the constant swooping of birds across my property to get to the food. They are attracting rodents to my property due to the fact that not only are they using suet but bread and carrots are being thrown to feed other animals. This is creating problems with rats who I have seen as well. I have attached a picture of just a sample of what is going on daily. Bird droppings are not sanitary and I have an autoimmune disease that can be affected by my having to clean up after these animals. I think this is also creating a dependency by the wild birds and animals who no longer need to forage for their own food. I called and left a message last week with John Fralick but have not had a response. Please address this issue. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Poison ivy/oak/sumac in the playground as well as bordering the backyards around the playground and fields, only noticed after my son got poison ivy last week at Anna Parker so I looked around and found quite a bit. Thank you.

    Every Friday evening around 8-9 pm, I drive by the parking lot where Verizon Wireless and Five Guys is (behind the Square One Mall). There is always a large group of car enthusiasts outside. They are definitely in violation of the Covid gathering rules as they are not social distancing and no one has been observed wearing masks. Please have an officer stop by and enforce the crowd size and encourage them to wear masks to keep us ALL safe and healthy. Thank you.
