    As someone who grew up on Birch Street, and now works within the Veterans school I feel the time has come for the town to consider the removal the large tree that is in the center of the hillside over the new playground. That tree has had generations of kids using it as a fun "hideout" it's branches fully engulf the hill and obscure those under it from view in a virtual wooden igloo. What was once fun has turned dangerous secluded area riddled with drug activity.
    Please consider its removal for the safety of all.
