The sidewalk pavers along the westbound side of Elgin between Austin and Fannin are broken up in several places.

This section of sidewalk had not been repaired since the it was dug up to renovate the street months ago. It is muddy, there are holes, and the plastic fencing is falling down.

The intersection has been impassable for pedestrians for weeks. Is there an update on when the work will be completed? It poses a safety issue for all pedestrians, but especially ADA and those with strollers.

I go to HCC and have to park here sometimes. It's terrible to get out of my car and fall into the gutter that's usually filled with water. It's gross and dangerous. Please fix sidewalks, street, and gutters!

The sidewalks and gutters here are deplorable. It's like a 3rd world country on this block!

When will the sidewalk be replaced? Why remove the old one 3-4 weeks ago and leave dirt for us to walk on?

Please fix or place boards or tarps down. I'm tired of dirty shoes and dust and not being able to walk in heels or sandals.

There is a large void that keeps being opened up by contractors at Caroline and Elgin. It has been there since 2019.

I’m afraid it will cause flooding in the event of a storm. Whatever the issue is, it should be closed, at least until work is ready to be done on it, so that sewage and water lines aren’t damaged at this critical junction in the event of extreme weather.

The situation there is fluid. The sidewalk collapsed last week under moderate rain.
