    Homeowners placed recyclable bin at curbside Friday night 12/31/21 prior to Sarasota County Ordinance, (no sooner than 5pm each Sunday). Bin is still there. They also left a nice mess of hazardous fireworks debris/waste on Sarasota County public road, further causing several public nuisances, and disrespecting Sarasota County property. Further, homeowner continues to park a Commercial Truck in a residential neighborhood against County Ordinance. Please help. Thank you.

    This trailer park is on Avenue A. A main cut thru off of Hwy 41 to Siesta Key Beach. Also, located across from Tiny houses that house tourists who travel to see our beautiful beaches from all over the world.

    The sight they have to see directly across the street from their vacation stay should not be. It does not leave a good impression and has an unkept look like you would see in a different part of town. Rats running around, many feral cats that run across the busy street and don't make it.

    One trailer is vacant and the owner passed away many years ago. So people break in and squat. The screens are falling off, break ins to the door and debris every where. In addition, the next door trailer leaves out all their garbage cans for the week sprawled all over the curb and garbage sits there all week, every week because the garbage men do not take it if not in cans. Something needs to be done.

    If I could I would check off all the choices for violation, but this site only allows me to check off one Issue!!

    Dan Smith has created,signed and publicly filed false compliance information as the truth. The public record he has filed is known as a: CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE. It was created by Dan Smith on: Nov. 09, 2021 AND was recorded into official records on: Nov. 15, 2021.
    Now, look at the photos of the subject property located at: 757 Gantt av. .
    This property received a Notice Of Violations, Dec.16, 2020.
    The N.O.V. has a ORDER TO CORRECT., COUNT #2.
    It requires a CONTINUOUS HEDGE ALONG THE ENTIRE FRONTAGE OF THE PROPERTY FACING GANTT AVENUE.

    Look at the before and after (Dan's recorded CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE) photos of the supposedly now compliant CONTINUOUS HEDGES.
    Dan Smith has lied to the public/ Gantt av. residents and worse. He has publicly filed false information as the truth... Violating F.S. 838.022.

    County Administrator/ Jonathan Lewis, You have more than one County employee offering benefits to others.
    The obvious exists, there's still NO CONTINUOUS HEDGE ALONG THE ENTIRE FRONTAGE OF THE PROPERTY FACING GANTT AVENUE.

    The is house was rented four different times to unrelated groups from mid July 2020 to beginning of August by Siesta Key rentals https://siestakey.com/35144/ You can see in August its rented twice already within less than 30 days. The rental description says ~~1 month minimum in Season and 2 weeks out of Season~~ but they are renting it numerous times to different groups within 30 days. I have screen grabs of the rental website from last summer of rental dates of more than once a month and this year too for documentation as needed. The rental groups are often multi-family sometimes exceeding 8 , play loud music to the canal, the boat lift is broken so they park their boats in front of neighbors seawalls, we also have pics of that. Siesta Key rental is aware of the rules and likely the owners, but are disregarding.

    On the west side of Bay Street, just off Honore, is an area that appears to be used by the Sage apartment dwellers for a quick turn into one of the entrances. To stop this from happening poles with yellow hazard tape have been set up to block cars from crossing the grass medium. This is tacky at best and a terrible eyesore. Can’t someone be required to install a permanent fix to this that is more appealing?
