    This green gate and the fence to the right of it was put up last week and blocks a county drainage easement and ditch. This man has does this because he does not want walkers, bike riders, or horse riders going by his house. He runs an illegal carpentry/cabinet making business out of his garage and doesn't want to get reported again. He's already been told to shut it down before. The county has been called for a second gate that illegally blocks the drainage easement trail behind his house, but has been threatened by this bully, so they don't do anything. This is unacceptable. This easement cannot have a closed gate and I am sick of this man being able to get away with bending the rules to suit himself. We must all abide by the law, he is not special and does not get a hall pass to do what he wants.

    This house at 4847 Commonwealth Drive, Siesta Key recently sold and is now being advertised as a rental with multiple rentals a month. That is not allowed as the zoning in this area is one rental per month. House may also have had some non permitted work as it is advertised as a f bedroom when it sold as a 4 bedroom. I have been told they are utilizing a non compliant area downstairs as a bedroom. Not against rentals, just against breaking the rules and all the noise.

    Especially, when the onsite proof is conclusive. That the subject property's owners HAVE NOT not met the Sarasota County's minimum requirements for code compliance for all three Notice Of Violation Counts issued.
    After Dan Smith has went as far as to state and publicly record a Certificate Of Compliance: That he's ascertained that the Respondents have voluntarily met compliance on all three Counts.     So everything reported and marked UNFOUNDED in your system is really unfounded and closed or trying to make it go away from public view ?????? I don't see how SANCA is really wanting and trying to be in compliance when this goes back over 7 months and Mr. Osterhoudt met with SANCA in September and to date they are not able to submit the required information to the County. All citizens would like to be able to just do what they want with no repercussions as long as they SAY they really want to comply. Actions speak louder than words. SANCA is not going to get permits for the large blue shipping containers and the piles of outdoor storage as they have already been told they are not allowed but yet they want to be in compliance but WILL NOT remove those items that they have already been told will not be approved.

    S&D plan required that shell parking for boat ramp in east and west lake be converted to paved surface when development done. The East lake was converted. The West lake was not. Sarasota County ordinance requires that rock or shell MAY be approved if an alternate parking plan is submitted to the County Engineer and Zoning and $500.00 fee paid. This also does not meet ADA as no path other than shell from Athletes Drive to boat ramp/handicap spot.

    This trailer park is on Avenue A. A main cut thru off of Hwy 41 to Siesta Key Beach. Also, located across from Tiny houses that house tourists who travel to see our beautiful beaches from all over the world.

    The sight they have to see directly across the street from their vacation stay should not be. It does not leave a good impression and has an unkept look like you would see in a different part of town. Rats running around, many feral cats that run across the busy street and don't make it.

    One trailer is vacant and the owner passed away many years ago. So people break in and squat. The screens are falling off, break ins to the door and debris every where. In addition, the next door trailer leaves out all their garbage cans for the week sprawled all over the curb and garbage sits there all week, every week because the garbage men do not take it if not in cans. Something needs to be done.

    If I could I would check off all the choices for violation, but this site only allows me to check off one Issue!!
