The Sarasota County storm water drainage waterway behind the homes on Center Gate Blvd is clogged with invasive water lettuce as far as the eye can see! This concern was previously reported in June 2018 (#459813), and although "acknowledged", with a verbal promise that it would be cleared in February 2019, nothing has been done. Only the waterways on Wilkinson were cleared this past Spring. This area was severely flooded in the early 1990's. Water up to the mailboxes, fish swimming in the streets.

Not sure if this is the right dept but since we moved in this new home in 2017 we’ve had major yard drainage issues mostly in the back on left side of home. I was wondering if you guys ever come and check that the yard was designed properly according to the plan submitted by the builder?

There are several dead palms along the south side of Proctor Road. This one has fallen over the Grove's HOA privacy wall in to the back yard of a homeowner. There are several other very dead palms in this area that haven't fallen yet but need to be removed.
The HOA's property line is 2' outside of the wall. These palms are on County or FDOT ROW and need to be removed before they damage private property. I have a Land Survey of the area if you need to see it.

Please clean exotic materials from ROW to improve life safety and visibility triangles from driveway along roadway

We just cleared some land and were told to contact the county to bring the “boom” mower for the over growth in the ditch.

This tree is hanging over the road low. Multiple lawn trucks and waste management have hit this branch. It’s also growing into the power line that sits right next to it.

Dead Washingtonian Palm on the corner of 202 E. Pocono Trail and Nash Avenue. When removing, please be careful of the hanging stag horn fern on the oak tree adjacent to the dead palm.
