    This trailer park is on Avenue A. A main cut thru off of Hwy 41 to Siesta Key Beach. Also, located across from Tiny houses that house tourists who travel to see our beautiful beaches from all over the world.

    The sight they have to see directly across the street from their vacation stay should not be. It does not leave a good impression and has an unkept look like you would see in a different part of town. Rats running around, many feral cats that run across the busy street and don't make it.

    One trailer is vacant and the owner passed away many years ago. So people break in and squat. The screens are falling off, break ins to the door and debris every where. In addition, the next door trailer leaves out all their garbage cans for the week sprawled all over the curb and garbage sits there all week, every week because the garbage men do not take it if not in cans. Something needs to be done.

    If I could I would check off all the choices for violation, but this site only allows me to check off one Issue!!

    All the ‘Stop High Density Hotels’ signs throughout Siesta Key are very tacky and I’m guessing there’s an ordinance against them. Keep Siesta Key beautiful and tacky sign free. Thanks!

    (09) County employees, refusing to apply Sarasota County's Standard Operating Procedures and the County employees are protecting the two subject properties owners and tenants from receiving appropriate penalties for the code violations and the reoccurring code violations, aliasing prohibited land-use, publicly recorded counterfeit permits, lying to the public and filing false findings as the truth, unpermitted work, BUT NOT LIMITED TO.

    The is house was rented four different times to unrelated groups from mid July 2020 to beginning of August by Siesta Key rentals You can see in August its rented twice already within less than 30 days. The rental description says ~~1 month minimum in Season and 2 weeks out of Season~~ but they are renting it numerous times to different groups within 30 days. I have screen grabs of the rental website from last summer of rental dates of more than once a month and this year too for documentation as needed. The rental groups are often multi-family sometimes exceeding 8 , play loud music to the canal, the boat lift is broken so they park their boats in front of neighbors seawalls, we also have pics of that. Siesta Key rental is aware of the rules and likely the owners, but are disregarding.

    After trying multiple times to get clarification from the County on when or if they intend to complete or have developer complete land development issues missing in the park I am told they are reviewing them with approved plans. They have been reviewing for several months. Engineer and Benderson were required to submit plans and certify that they met all land development regulations. Sarasota County is unwilling to ask Benderson to complete the park as agreed. No parking areas have canopy trees as required. Landscape Street buffer never installed along Cattlemen Road. Numerous ADA issues in the park. Missing sidewalks. Missing parking lot and pathways lighting. Missing parking lot striping and bumpers. Numerous areas missing ADA parking space. Those that do have no connectivity to bathroom or pathways. ETC ETC. County staff refuses to have Benderson complete the park as required by Land Development ordinance. Taxpayers are going to be on the hook for these issues. Why is staff looking the other way for Benderson?

    Yet another neighborhood short term rental, I see 1302 Roberts Bay Ln, Sarasota, FL 34242 has already been reported. Both of these houses have been renting weekly since July 4th. With a pandemic going on our neighborhood has been overrun with visitors. 5045 has new people from PA, and 1302 also with new people and look to have over 10, with multiple cars parked all over the property area.

    The trailers on Ave A are in total disrepair... broken windows, missing side panels to just name a little bit. Can these trailers truly meet the zoning guidelines of Sarasota County. PLease check them out. I would definetly not think that people would be allowed to live in these trailers.
