    Many fisherman in the neighborhood WADE FISH the flats here. At the end of W. Bay at waters edge is a public entry point to walk out onto the flats. The public underwater land is in front of this residence at 131 Bay St and the restaurant called The Point. According to County Tax records this underwater land is all public. Up until last year, there was a path and it was accessible. However, within the last year someone dumped lots of concrete rubble and filled in the path and created an obstacle in an effort to discourage access. Vines have since grown over it all and its a hazard of inaccessibility. The natural area is impacted and looks terrible. W Bay Street all the way to the water is a public road and provides public access.
