    Construction has been going on at this location for several months. The back yard has been stripped of all vegetation for well over a month now. Every day the winds kick up dirt and within a week, or less, my boat, lanai, windows and cars are covered with a layer of dirt. Isn't there some rule that would force the contractor to plant grass or otherwise cover the dirt to prevent this?

    This area gets flooded even in a minor rain event and the water stays days after the rain It's seems the drainage here is poor It makes it hard to cross at the crosswalk when it's flooded on one side of Ocean Blvd

    This is a safety hazard for the 3 buses that have to come to pick up Children. My daughter was almost hit because of trying to avoid the water. Fire aunts find high grounds and will attack if going through the water, the mosquitos are horrible due to standing water. My child has to ba absent from school due to the high water at times on the road. Fix the drains and add more drains and ditches to the road. or build us up above sea level. Something needs to be done about this water harzard.

    Walking east on the sidewalk along the south side of Wilkinson road someone has spray painted the *F word; children walk by it daily on the way to Wilkinson elementary It appears a nearby property owner tried to power wash it but now it is even more visible

    AT: 701 Gantt av., 34232. The ROADWAY (N. & S. bound lanes) have been poured with reinforced concrete. AND COUNTY OFFICIALS ARE IGNORING THIS PROJECT.
    Having NO R.O.W. Class (D)PERMIT issued.
    Nor has any R.O.W. application ever been submitted, having all of R.O.W. procedural requirements performed and submitted with any application.
    This concrete project occurred May 23, 2018, . And now/STILL, the Sarasota Cnty. P&D Director and several more Cnty. employees included are all looking the other way. Choosing to not acknowledge OR enforce the required "After the Fact Class(D) permit fee of $900.- and it's required permit x3 fees = $2,700.-" , plus the standard $15.- Document fee.
    A combined Total, equaling $3,615.- is due.
    One heck of a coupon attempt and totally illegal by all involved. Read the County's code Sec.26. PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION; RESORT TO OTHER REMEDIES, Pg. 128 of the (75-38) Zoning Ordinance.
    SEE the photo showing the N. end of Gantt av., the roadway is obviously poured.
    The driveway apron, that's also shown in the photo. It was poured at the same time as Gantt av. Roadway.
    The driveway apron is another corrupt permitting effort, for this unpermitted project. Where: Six(6) days after the unpermitted work was completed. The 701 Gantt owners applied for " ONLY " a RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT Class (H) DRIVEWAY APRON< That (H) permit has zero/nothing to do with the pouring of BOTH lanes on Gantt av.,

    When Amazon opens and there are 800+ employees leaving work everyday, you better put a new road exit for those people. Hopefully someone has thought this through and all these businesses cannot exit Commercial Court with one lane! Outrageous! I do not see any roads being done for this. Please do something smart - your planning of traffic is awful
