  • Sherman Ave & Whalley Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dixwell
The bike signal never turns and there is no visible green light for bikes in the bike lane heading westbound, meaning that every time they need to make a guess as to whether they can cross. Very dangerous.
  • 1070 Chapel St New Haven CT 06510, United States - Downtown
Timing for the light at High Street/Chapel St seems to have been changed: it's now only about a ten second green light for westbound traffic on Chapel Street Only 3-4 cars can get through at a time. This is causing backups on that block, frustrated drivers, honking/noise, and people running the light. Please re-adjust the timing so that this light is more aligned with the lights at neighboring intersections..
  • Elm St & State St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Town_Green
The traffic flow changes and traffic light timings on State St. are exceptionally poorly planned, resulting in many instances of oncoming traffic being blocked for entire light cycles such as pictured below. I have been repeatedly blocked trying to leave my apartment to go either direction due to traffic back ups, and repeatedly blocked at random intersections by drivers stuck in the intersection through multiple light cycles. The light at State St. and Chapel St. is also notorious for people going straight through what is now a left turn only lane.
  • 996-1072 Chapel St New Haven, Connecticut, 06510 - Downtown
Unusually long all red light duration (cars and less). I see lots of frustrated pedestrians just winging it because the light seems broken. Please check the timing.
  • Grove St New Haven CT 06511, United States - Downtown
Traffic light at State and Olive/Grove is not going through cycle properly as of 4:00pm 8/13 No consistent pattern for light turning green for Olive and Grove st traffic
  • Edgewood Ave & Orchard St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dwight
  • Edgewood Ave & Orchard St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dwight
Light changing to quickly only 2 cars get through building traffic while other light is extremely long
  • Fitch St & Whalley Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Beaver Hills
The green light for west bound traffic doesn't last long enough causing traffic to back up all day. The arrow to turn onto Fitch street lasts too long. from east bound the light is not in sync with west rock ave light so it is red by the time you get there
  • Brewery St & Water St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Wooster Square
Traffic signal is recalling the phase for the high school driveway every cycle with no cars present. Leads to big delays. Likely detector broken
  • George St & Temple St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Town_Green
The walk signal at the intersection of george and temple streets, by the corner that has the shut down movie theatre, is malfunctioning and goes off for hours at a time
  • 811 Chapel St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Town_Green
Pedestrian signal heads spun all whacky
  • Church St S & Oak Street Connector New Haven, CT, 06519, USA - Hill
When a pedestrian activates the crosswalk at the Church street/S Frontage Road 34 connector the traffic cycles from S frontage rd to the cross walk back to S frontage road. Therefore the traffic sitting on Church street waiting to turn L/R onto the connector do not get to go. I've waited in multiple cycles depending on how many people continue to push the crosswalk. I've reported this issue before and is has been fixed, however after some time it always becomes and issue again and the crosswalk disrupts the algorithm of traffic lights. Please fix this issue promptly as it causes unsafe travel and is extremely frustrating to the cars waiting on Church street to access to 34 connector during rush hour!
