BioswalesOtwarte353 Edgewood Ave New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - EdgewoodTraveling from Edgewood Mall downtown along George Street, you can't help but notice that the bioswales get nicer and nicer, well-kept and neat. Around here though, they are neglected, overgrown, trash-filled eyesores. Why does this neighborhood get the short end of the stick? We work, vote and pay taxes, same as the residents near Yale or Hospital properties. Fair? I don't think so!

321 Crown St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Town_GreenAt least two weeks ago car accident mowed through a York Street Bioswale and and through an exciting parking lot fence. It is unsightly and unsafe. This is located on York, NW Corner of York and Crown. You can't miss it.

BioswalesOtwarte339 Winthrop Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - EdgewoodWhy doesn't the City maintain its bioswales? Not in the budget? No one wants the job? The bioswale around the corner on Edgewood has a 5' ailanthus sapling! Of course, the ones near downtown are in a lot better shape, but this neighborhood deserves to have their benefits too.
