What interagency boondoggle resulted in one city department spending lots of money to pave a lovely new bike lane, and then another agency thinking "hey, this soft new asphalt is a perfect place to sink a pole right into the middle"? It really makes the bike lane difficult to use...

almost all the bike lane delineators are knocked down and or missing please hurry and put them back up , as their are many bicycle riders in the area

add delineators to yellow bike lane for entire block. bike lane is always parked in by food vendors with zero enforcement. or just make it a legal parking lane on the left side as well which will bring traffic calming to the street and make it feel safer to bike in the lane,.

Watched 6 adults and 2 children on bikes forced into oncoming traffic in a matter of minutes, all to avoid this car parked in the cycle track. Hard protection is needed before someone is killed by this badly designed cycle track.

Driver driving car in the bike lane. This is not the first time this has been noted on SeeClickFix, let alone happened. Hard protection is needed for the Edgewood Cycletrack to be a safe, usable resource for people using micro mobility. This is an ongoing, known problem. Design better infrastructure, this is dangerous!

Can we remove a lane of parking on Whitney ave and put in a cycle track or a BUS AND BIKE ONLY lane. There are many commuters that move along Whitney and single occupancy vehicles take up too much space

Without delineators/protection, this bike lane makes the road more dangerous for people on bikes than if it didn't exist at all. You can see in the picture how the woman biking in front of me is now squeezed between the truck and passing cars, and there is almost always a vehicle in the bike lane because of the dorms and the post office. It would be an inconvenience for a car to have to pass a vehicle parked in the car lane, but to someone on a bike it's terrifying to get squeezed because a vehicle is parked in the bike lane.

Why bother having a meeting asking people what they want if you're not going to listen? Why do we not get bike lanes whether or not there's any opposition? Why pretend you care about the environment when you won't even put some paint down so that biking doesn't mean fearing for your life?

It is still possible to access the Polling Place in Hillhouse HS. Obviously, the City of New Haven's priorities are messed up. Please install a more effective barrier and repave the bike lane. Thanks.
