The street name sign for English Drive needs to be removed and re-made.

In the request found at https://seeclickfix.com/issues/18141916 , I asked that the offensively damaged sign for English Drive be removed to eventually be remade and replaced. I was ignored.

Here's a new issue, and a recap of what's happened here:

On Friday November 1, 2024 at 16:27, I called (203) 946-6316 because I determined that NHPD should be aware of this particular issue, given its sensitive nature. I informed an officer about bullet holes in this street sign. The officer told me they would relay the message to the appropriate person, I'm guessing at NH TTP.

On Friday November 7, 2024 at 08:31, I visited this intersection again and noticed nothing was done. I called NH TTP and spoke with the operator, who took down detailed information about all of the road signs that need to be replaced. They told me they would have someone work on it starting after the weekend.

On Saturday, January 4, 2025 around 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM, I walked by this intersection to verify if anyone had responded to any part of the requests I made. Alas, all three signs were exactly the same as they were in November 2024, as if no one ever called anything in.

That same day, I called (203) 946-6316 and detailed all of this information to them. I left my name and phone number. Later that evening, an officer called me (from a blocked number) and informed me that although they can investigate for any evidence at the location, NHPD is not responsible for signage. After that phone call, I posted the entire ordeal to SeeClickFix at the URL mentioned above.

After a flurry of comments from battling a grumpy troll that seemingly surfaced out of the ground at East Rock, and then eventual confirmation from a city employee that (only) the stop sign was removed, I walked back to check the area out and found that the Road Closed sign is in the exact same shape as it was before I reported anything, still heavily marked with visible blight.

Also, before today, the damaged sign for English Drive was bent and curved, but apparently someone recently took the initiative to bend the sign back straight again. This does not fix the damage visible on the sign, though.

A previous poster on this app said thousands of people travel through this intersection, so that alone should be enough, with no room for argument, as to why the visual appearance cannot be less than presentable to the extent that there are bullet holes in the sign and that never signals a good look for anyone.

Please fix the signage, graffiti, blight, and damage that plagues this intersection. Thank you.

This road name sign is faded.

Missing Sign and post in front of YNHH Smilow designated for radiation patients.

The "No Parking" signs previously installed on the even-numbered side of Russell Street, between addresses 700 and 792, are missing. This absence leads to frequent parking on that side, significantly obstructing traffic flow on this narrow street, especially given that parking is permitted on the opposite side.
