heading north on howe st there is a green right turn arrow, but both lanes on howe can go straight through. so if a car in the right lane is going straight they are going to hold up all the right turns behind them when the light is as shown. it is my understanding that green arrows can only be over separate turn lanes. please make the right most lane a right turn only lane or change the light.

When I tried to press the button to cross College St located at the northeast corner of the Crown/College intersection, I received what felt like a low-voltage (10-20v?) AC electric shock. I had part of my hand touching the rear of the housing (maybe a screw head?) and part of my hand touching the button — I believe a wire may be shorted to the housing.

Maybe I’m just crazy, but I’ve been shocked more than a few times and I feel pretty confident that’s what it was. I didn’t have a meter on me so I don’t know for sure.

In most other intersections in New Haven (and other cities), there is a delay between when the crosswalk signal stops blinking and when oncoming traffic get a green light. However, for traffic coming down Elm St crossing Church St, there is virtually no gap -- the crosswalk signal stops blinking, and the cars immediately get a green light.

The staff of New Haven Academy park in Lot 131, at the corner of Orange and the Trumbull St. entrance to 91. Their concern is that the left turn signal to turn into the lot is quick, and staff feel that it's an accident risk given how eager people are to turn onto the highway entrance there. If there is any adjustment that can be made, we certainly don't want any public school teachers in accidents as they arrive for or depart work.

Meadow and Columbus traffic lights are very slow to change and seem like they could be synchronized differently to allow better traffic flow for more cars I rarely see any cars turn onto Union Ave from those two roads anyway. Thanks for your attention to this

The walk signal to cross George St on the west side (under the college) should be able to come on automatically when either Church St has a green or George St westbound has a green because there is no traffic conflict. The button can still give a walk signal for crossing the other parts of the intersection. People have realized this and cross anyways

The button for the Wok signal in front of 25 Science Park does not always work. We have had this issue sporadically over the last year and a half but it seems to be getting worse.

Need a raised intersection or something here. Cars fly through the stop sign consistently. It is a main school bus stop, with many kids being there in the morning and afternoon. I've seen over 5 accidents occur on this corner, all due to someone ignoring the stop sign.

Traffic signals lost power completely

Traffic light does not detect vehicles traveling east on grove street toward Olive street after recent construction with lane revision. Traffic signal would not change until pedestrian crossing button is pressed. Sat at light for 5 cycles of signals for State Street traffic before a pedestrian pushed the button to cross causing the traffic signal to cycle finally triggering a green signal for traffic crossing State Street.
