The majority of the ash trees in the parking lot of Barnard School are dead - most likely due to ash borers, and now have these “witches brooms” shoots growing from the bottom. The trees appear to be unsafe and potentially hazardous by harboring invasive species in them.

Diseased tree on Congress Avenue, close to Baldwin Street, school side. Branches of the tree hanging down low enough to impede sidewalk traffic.
