Boulevard Bridge Richmond, Virginia - Richmond Precinct 3
The city spread sand of the bridge some months ago during cold weather. The sand is still there. Does the city not have a street sweeper? There is sand and other debris along both sides of the bridge that needs to be picked up. The bridge is experiencing minor flooding during heavy downpours because the sand is blocking some drains. Please pick up the sand.

There was a dead deer on the sidewalk on the westbound side of Monument Ave this morning. Might have been hit by a car and died right there.

200–298 Portland Pl Richmond 23221, United States - Windsor Farms
Clogged city sewer drain. The drain seems to be clogged with leaves or other debris as it takes days to drain after any heavy rain.
  • Ditch OverflowingAcknowledged
10303 Hobby Hill Road Richmond, Virginia - Huguenot
On Hobby Hill Rd at the corner of Margate Dr, the ditch beside Hobby Hill Rd does not drain well and overflows into the street. This could be a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
  • 3515 Margate Drive Richmond, Virginia - Huguenot
On the west side of the street, there is a hole in the shoulder of the street. This hole is about 1 ft - 2 ft across and about 1 ft - 2 ft from the street. This is a heavily traveled section of Margate and that heavy traffic makes walkers use the shoulder. A walker could easily step in that hole and have injuries if distracted. There are no sidewalks here.
  • 3410 Margate Drive Richmond, Virginia - Huguenot
At 3410 Margate, there is a fallen tree that is blocking the shoulder of the street and partially in the street. This is a heavily traveled part of Margate and that traffic forces walkers to use the shoulder and that shoulder is blocked by this tree.. The shoulder on the other side of Margate is a steep ditch with tall weeds/grass.
  • 613 North Lombardy Street Richmond, Virginia - The Fan
Northbound Lombardy at West Broad Street
The Northbound lane heading into the intersection will soon be wide enough to designate a dedicated right turn lane, once the construction project at the Verizon building concludes and the fenced-off private parking area is removed from the public right-of-way.
This is already utilized in the southbound lane; adding this in the northbound lane would greatly facilitate efficient and (most importantly) more-predictable traffic movement at a dangerous intersection.
Prior to the construction project, northbound traffic sometimes did this by instinct, but not always.
  • 499 Stuart Circle Richmond, Virginia - The Fan
    Northbound Lombardy at Stuart Circle
The Northbound lane heading into the circle is wide enough to designate a dedicated right turn lane, and the circle itself is broad enough to designate a dedicated left turn lane around the monument.
Both of these are already utilized in the southbound lane; adding these in the northbound lane would greatly facilitate efficient traffic movement.
Northbound traffic sometimes does one or both of these by instinct, but not always.
