It seems to me that refinishing hardwood floors at Tacoma Rec Center EVERY YEAR is a HUGE & unneeded expense to taxpayers. John

We used to frequent this as a family, but now the park seems to be overlooked and not maintained as well as it used to. There is constant trash and the tables are always dirty. The home next door uses it as a second home with vans parked with people inside drinking and smoking.
Can we get some help cleaning this up? When we do go, we always end up cleaning up after the people who don't have the respect for public parks.

Is there a way to have signs posted at Foster Memorial Park stating park closed at dusk? E

very night there are cars parked in both parking lots with people sitting in their cars. In the summer they sit in the covered area, or on the play ground drinking and using drugs. After posting the signs, can we have TPD patrol the area as the drive our neighborhoods and issue citations to the people not obeying the signs?

people are camping overnight at bicentennial park, they are there every morning. which according to the parks rules is not permitted.

Is anything planned to be done about the horrible drainage/mud issues at Crestview dog park? It’s so awful all winter long. We try to visit here and there hoping it will be resolved but it’s just as gross as ever. The entrance to the large dog side is really slippery and a huge pool of mud. The large main area is so mucky you’ll lose your shoes if you’re not careful.
