City of Tukwila PLUS

The area between Target Store and Tukwila Pond is filled with a lot of trash. The area I refer to is just on the other side of the wall that separates Tukwila Pond from Target's Parking lot. People have also been seen trying to set up camp in that area.

Foul-smelling garbage is accumulating on both sides of the bridge at 56th Avenue S and Interurban.

This was posted before and looks closed, however the rubbish still exists off the trail that parallels the 405 ramp still hasn’t been picked up along the hillside.

The city of Tukwila hired a company to come cut down trees I had concerns about falling onto my home and or property causing an extensive amount of damage. This company was here for one day and just dropped the trees they did not clean up their mess. I am extremely disappointed and upset at this point. You may or may not be able to tell, but my fence was damaged prior to this incident due to one of the limbs falling off these trees. I have had to maintain the city Side of my fence for decades. I cannot and have not been able to get an estimate on the damage and I imagine it's been too long so I'll have to take care of this out of my own pocket at sometime in the near future! I would like to know if this entity intends to come back and fall more trees, at which time they will clean up the debris up against my fence line? Or will the city of Tukwila send these people back out and clean up this mess? I have maintained a three to four foot buffer of space trying to keep the blackberry bushes, bamboo bushes, grass, weeds Etc from piling up on my fence causing it to degrade before it's actual lifespan is fulfilled. I am 57 years old now and I'm scheduled to have both knees replaced here in a few weeks I cannot and will not climb over this pile of crap to maintain city property.

Please send someone out to evaluate and advise me of the proposed solution. As other members of this specific location in Tukwila we try to maintain our property with pride and would respectfully ask the city of Tukwila to do the same. This is not the only recent incident with subcontractors for the city of Tukwila. Recently Tukwila had 128th Street repaved in front of my house the contractor Tukwila chose left about a 1 foot drop from the new pavement to my driveway when I asked them they said don't worry about it they would take care of it by the end of the day and that was a lie I came home and backed in and about tore my oil pan out of my car. I had to pay out of my own pocket to have dirt gravel trucked in and this mess taken care of so please excuse my elevated blood pressure and extreme disappointment every time I've had to deal with somebody that the city of Tukwila has hired to do a job around the area.

Anyway I'll stop there I'm getting too excited over this whole issue. I've lived in Tukwila all of my life and I intend to die here and would like nothing more than to have a good rapport with the city of Tukwila and all of their employees contractors and subcontractors.

As a side note please know that I have two Siberian Huskies that I love to death and would like nothing more than to keep them inside their quarantined area as they do run and will not come back. please please please knock at the front door if access is needed on to my property I'm more than happy to oblige just please respect my wishes.

Right next to LaVista Apartments and the Peaks Condos is a trail that lately has been used as a human bathroom. Their is human feces in different places up & down this trail. I am not mistaken and it does not belong to an animal. This relates to the homeless problem and their turning this city into their human toilet.
