It’s something that this community has had a concern about. The street is not leveled maybe if they fix the street there would be less noise. There is also many cracks and indents on this street.     At the corner of fairmount st and hamilton st there needs to be a crosswalk. Trying to cross from one side of hamilton st to the other is a death trap. Some of us have dogs we want to walk and since there’s no safe sidewalk on one side we need to get to the other side and it is insane. So a cross walk with a slow signal could help, or a speed bump of some sort. I’ve noticed the school bus picks up and drops off right at that corner too so that would be another good reason to add a crosswalk, slow signal, or speed bump. The cars on this street go insanely fast sometimes and with no proper sidewalks or speeding signals or crosswalks it could be deadly for a child, animal or elderly person.
